Three months. Ninety days gone by felt too short and too long. Raven had been miserable since, yet no one knew. She was good at hiding secrets by maintaining her emotionless expression. But she could not lie to herself. She felt empty and lifeless as three months ago, the jokes had stopped without a reason. Without a word and without explanation, those laughters ended.

Raven hated to admit it, but she missed him. A lot. She had to get him back, she had to hear those corny jokes again. Yes, Beast Boy's jokes never made her smile, but she loved the attention he gave her. She thought he will never give up on making her smile. She was wrong.

And she needed him to try again. The only way was to let him know how she felt when he was around.

Those three months had turned Raven into an insomniac. She made a full attempt to fall asleep, but she ended up thinking how to fix this problem. Raven got up from her bed, taking her journal from under her pillow before she headed to the common room for a cup of tea. While walking, she flipped open the journal and read one of her poems dedicated to the changeling.

.

Your disappointment I felt

As emptiness was your gift

But inside I was dying

To let you know that I melted

For the attention you pelted

.

Boldness is absence in me

But you have it all

Therefore, accept my apology

Because of my cowardice

You ended my one and only

Source of happiness.

.

Loath is when I had to beg

And forced to see your golden smirk

That runs my heart like machine guns

Thus here and now I'd like to beg

Return to me with your variance

of humourless abilities.

.

The door to the common room opened. Raven stood still, as if the whole world paused along with her heart. There she saw Beast Boy fast asleep on the couch, being watched by the television. Her tea was an intention fully forgotten. Right now and right there, her eyes never left the little boy in front of her. Raven ripped the page where her poem was written before scrunching it up into a small ball. She put it in his left hand and made sure he had a tight grip of it.

Raven immediately left the common room with a hidden smile of satisfaction.

...

The next day, Raven finally retrieved her happiness. Beast Boy had the most enormous grin she had ever seen since the last three months. And when she was sure he looked away, she stole the moment to smile. She smiled because of the merriness he provided and also because she had underestimated him.

'He gets my poem, huh? He's not that dumb after all.' She continued laughing in silence while pretending to read her book. Without her knowing, Beast Boy saw her smile and deep in the heart he screamed with success.

Heyy. Thanks so much for reading. Do review because I'm kinda new!

And please tell me, should I wrote another oneshot from BB's POV? :)
