"no, no, why"Nathalie sat down on her bed trying to suppress the tears that threatened to come from her eyes, she looked at her phone once again her calendar, showed her she was nearly 2 months, she didn't see birth control necessary since she only had a 10 to zero chance of getting pregnant it ran in her family. She wasn't ready for an infant but telling it's father,
She allowed the tears to fall down her face,
Hawkmoth a man she didn't know yet she loved him with all her heart. She stood up and went to her kitchen and grabbed a cup. It was a lavender butterfly cup hawkmoth got her, she had a few trinkets from him.
While fixing herself a cup of tea, she heard her glass sliding door open,
"Nathalie," Hawkmoth's voice filled the silent room, she counted the steps it took for him to be close enough to wrap his arms around her.
Around her, she bit her lip, and pushed him back with her elbow, he stepped back.
"May I ask what's wrong?" He looked at her, Nathalie turned to fix the tea for herself,
Hawkmoth moved past her and fixed himself a glass of wine.
They sat on the couch, it was silent until Hawkmoth spoke, "what's bothering you?"
She blew the steaming liquid and looked at him,
"I'm pregnant or I think I am" She said,
Hawkmoth's eyes widened, he tried to form words but nothing came from his lips.
"my test will come back in a few days."she added,
"and it's mine?"he asked,
Nathalie glared at him "your the only man I let in my house and in my bedroom so yes" She looked at him before she drunk from her cup again.
"I guess you should reveal yourself to me." She forced a smile,
Hawkmoth sipped from his wine,
"No",
She looked at him, " Listen I won't tell anybody, I can't raise it alone and the job I have it only covers so much"she stood up,
"I can cover expenses"he said "I can pay for an abor-" he was cut off as she punched him in the jaw he stumbled back,
"Get out" she snarled already balling her fist up,
"i was wrong for saying that but what if someone finds out the infant belongs to me?"he asked, "don't forget i have a civilian identity"
Natalie heart dropped, ahw didn't think about it, she didn't know who he was he could be a married man and what was she.
"Are you crying?" He asked,
She touched her face, tears trickled down her face, she wasn't keen on crying.
"Leave" she mumbled,
Hawkmoth mumbled before leaving,
A few days later,
Nathalie was at Agreste mansion working, in those few days, Adrien noticed Nathalie sudden weight gain but didn't say anything, she also sat down at the table more, and started asking him how his day went or did he need help with homework,
She rubbed at her eyes fighting the dizziness wave that hit her, she tried closing her eyes but the room felt as if it was spinning.
She groaned as it passed, when she opened her eyes Gabriel stood next to her desk holding a small cup.
"Not in the mood for coffee-" She spoke softly feeling the third headache of the day creeping into her skull,
"Its tea Adrien noticed you being dizzy" He sat it down she picked it up after Gabriel stood behind his podium to sketch drawings and do who know what. She thought it was bitter and would need sugar and honey, but it had everything she liked in her tea.
"Thank you sir" she added,
When she got home there was a yellow package at her door she picked it up and walked inside after sitting everything down she ordered take out, after it arrived she went inside her at home office, if she don't move from her apartment the office would be turned into a nursery,
She noticed a he email, from the doctors concerning her test, it was positive.
So she was expecting a baby
The night went on just before she went to bed she opened the yellow package it held at least $20,000 dollars and a note,
"I hope this is enough to help with the 1st trimester expenses",
She slid the stack into a small jewelry box,
For the next few weeks, she ended up working from home due to morning sickness and not wanting to go outside after a month of being by herself and working from home, her doorbell rung, she answered it.
