Hey, this is Yuu-chan and I have rewritten Yin-Yang Kittens for Azuli since she is going on vacation from this place. Mind you, I have a busier schedule than Azuli since she is in online college, and I in high school. I don't know how she gets in to the LMC but she sometimes comes when I have after-school stuff and when we(my friends and I) leave, she is sitting under the main staircase typing away.

talk"- sounds like meows, growls, hisses, and mews to everyone except Kanda, Allen, and Kutoka. Lavi can somewhat understand them through body language.

"Human talk" 'thoughts'

Yin-Yang Kittens

*Lavi POV*

'Just one more document and then it's sleepy time,' I thought as I write down the last word of a soldier's journal Panda-jiji and I found when we walked past a battle.

I don't know what time it is, maybe midnight, I really want to get to my soft bed that sits there, mocking me from across my room. I grabbed a paper from a large pile to my right, and another blank piece from my left, and began to write. As I wrote down the sloppy, unorganized handwritten ink mess of a police report, I was thinking about what Komui could possibly want the moyashi and Yuu-chan. He grabbed and pulled them into his office right after we just came back from a mission in India.

'Probably experimenting. I'm pretty sure I saw his malicious grin,' I thought, sending goose bumps down my arms and shivers throughout my spinal column. 'I feel sorry for them. Let's just pray that it isn't a new Komurin.'

I placed my fountain pen back down to the paper and got to work on the second paragraph when loud, echoing knocking at my door. Who would be knocking at this hour, and so frantically at that. I got up from my seat at the desk, and headed to the door. As I reached for the knob, names raced through my head.

'Seriously, who is it? Yuu-chan? No. Even he sleeps. Moyashi-chan? No, he looked like he was about to collaspe when we returned. Lenalee? Maybe, but if it was an emergency, then she would kick down the door. Maybe it's-' The door swung open, hitting me in the face and knocking me down, revealing a tiny, feminine figure in a short black dress, tights, and knee-high black combat boots. Familiar neko(1) ears sat on top of her silver head. My girlfriend, and Moyashi's older but shorter sister, Kutoka. But she looked different, She looked...scared, like her head was about to explode from holding in tears. Where was her usual determined, friendly scowl?

"Neko-chan?"

"I-I heard s-s-screaming from K-Komui's office. I-it was d-definitely N-nii-san's(2)." Her knees were shaking and might buckle. Her feet were positioned inwards like a young child's when being scolded and her usual pale and anemic skin was flushed a deep feverish red . She looked worse than when she was in the cafeteria.

*Kutoka POV*

I sat in my room, meditating. Ever since sometime in the early evening, I had a sickening feeling in my core. My vision also swirled once in a while, and my head felt like it was full of helium. Thinking I was only coming down with something - even though it had hit me too suddenly - so I skipped dinner and headed straight to my room, instead of to the Head Nurse like Lavi suggested. It was probably just nothing a little bed rest wouldn't fix. I walked up the stairs to the floor of my room, and a shot of pain stabbed its way throughout my entire head. It was pulsing like a giant heart painfully, and I fell to my knees. Picking myself up with the railing, I dragged my body to my room which thankfully wasn't far. I swung the unusually heavy door open halfheartedly, and flopped onto my soft and cool bed. Thank God, I think I was having hot flashes with a fever.

'Where is this coming from? I didn't eat anything weird or hang around anyone sick. I don't even smell sick. Actually I know I can't be sick or my sense of smell wouldn't work. It's more like someone else's pain.'

I snuggled my head into my cold pillow, feeling a lump in it. I reach my hand into it, and pulled a certain small, raven-silver golem.

"Hey Inoku, so this were you have been," I said with a smirk. Inoku licked my flushed cheek and rubbed herself to my neck like Timcanpy does to Allen. Her tongue was freezing, which helped some, but not enough.

"Thanks for trying to help, Inoku, but you can't lick it away."

I closed my eyes and took a nap, waking sometime later maybe sunset, feeling a little better. My headache was nothing but a dull throb, but the sickening feeling was still there. I ignored it, and sat on the floor in the lotus position.

Trying to clear my head but failing, I jumped to my feet and sat on my bed, staring into the blank ceiling of my room.

'That's it. In the morning, I'm going to the infirmary and get checked out.'

Then the most horrid sound rose from the ground and rang deep into my ears. It was a scream of bloody murder, of agony, begging for mercy. It was kinda high-pitched. It made my heart constrict. I heard that scream too many times during my short apprenticeship.

"Nii-san!"

I darted out of my room and down the hallway to Lavi's room. I skidded to a stop and banged on the door.

'Please open up, please open up!' I begged. It felt like Usagi was taking his time. I brought up my leg and kicked the door with all the strength I could gather in two seconds, almost knocking it off its hinges.

"Neko-chan?" I saw Lavi sitting on the floor, rubbing his hurt forehead.

"I-I heard s-s-screaming from K-Komui's office. I-it was d-definitely N-nii-san's." Lavi's one visible left eye widen.

"It's okay Neko. Let's go down and check it out," he said calmly, trying to calm me down, succeeding somewhat.

He hugged me and we raced out of his room, through the hall to Kanda's room. It was quiet inside from what we can tell from outside. We knocked furiously on the dark wood door, hoping Kanda didn't decide to go to the training room early. Another scream, much deeper than Allen's scream, plundered through my ear like vikings in a profitable city. This one was also very familiar to me, even though I only hear when the owner of the scream and I are alone on a mission, which is rare, and even then I don't hear it often, but it always struck a cord in my chest like my brother's.

"Lavi, Kanda isn't here. He's still in the Supervisor's office with Nii-san. I-I just heard him scream," I mewled as I grabbed and shook his arm as I got his attention from the door. A door opened next to us; Lenalee's door. Out comes Lenalee, her recently short hair in a mess, her pajamas twisted and a strap from her shirt was hanging half off on her shoulder. Her violet eyes hazy with slumber and a yawn escaped her mouth.

"Lavi, Kutoka, what are you doing banging on Kanda's door. It's 12:00 at night and Kanda isn't much of a person who enjoys waking up at such time."

Lavi scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment. I quickly explained the situation to her.

"Alright, get him up. I'll put on some clothes," she said, then quickly disappearing into her room. I tried to tell her that Kanda wasn't in his room but she didn't hear me. I face-palmed myself and grabbed Lenalee as she just got some slacks on. We ran through long, dark corridors, down many flights of stairs, and past too many doors to count. I lead the way, despite feeling weak, but I was the only one that could see through the lightless halls. With Lavi on my left and Lenalee my right, we skidded in front of Komui's closed doors. A little sky blue light emitted through the cracks of the doors. They flickered occasionally like someone was welding metal to metal. I tried kicking the doors open but I guess I used my remaining strength for Lavi's door.

"Neko-chan, let me try," said lavi as he pushes me gently to the side as he pulled Iron Hammer from its holster. Pointing it at the door, he shouted "Extend!" and the tiny mallet grew tremendously and smashed the doors to large pieces. Inside was Komui, standing over two figures. Rather small and furry figures. One was black with a sword next its head, and the other, slightly smaller, fluffier, and white. Its left foreleg was furless and black and it went all the way, taking some of its shoulder. A small, obsidian cross was embedded into the top of its paw.

I felt sicker than before, but I wasn't going to collaspe when I'm needed most. Komui had a, strangely, scared expression.

"This wasn't supposed to happen... I swear this was not supposed to happen," he said in a shaky voice. "I don't know what happened. The potion must have gotten contaminated with some other ones. The real effect had nothing to do with cats."

I ignored Komui's sniveling, watching the two cats. It's obvious who is whom, unless they switched minds. Their bodies were curled into small, tight balls, pain written all over their faces. I could just make out their flanks rising and falling. Good, they're breathing.

"Why were they here all day?"

"Hmm?"

I grabbed his jacket, getting into his face. "If you were just testing potions, why were they in your office all day?"

He held his hands up to shield himself from my glares. "Their Innocence were acting up so before we did any testing, I checked Mugen and Crown Clown out. They were fine."

I released the Chinese scientist and let him fall on the ground. I walked to Allen and Kanda, who stirred and awokened during the scuffle, but a green and black blurr rushed past me, and snatched them up. Ten feet in front of me was Lenalee, hugging, more like squeezing, the life out of the two felines.

"They're so cute! Can I keep them, can I keep them, please?"

Lavi and I sweatdropped, and I rushed over using my demon speed to grabbed them, saving them from being flattened by Lenalee's...assets...

"Someone get Lenalee off me! I...can't breathe...," said Kanda's voice from Lenalee's thin arms. His black head popped out from her arms, his little paws that gave Lenalee a little scratch. She yelped, dropping the two boys- err..cats.

Komui streaked over to Lenalee, fussing over her scratches. I tried to hold in a chuckle, but it let loose.

"Mighty Lenalee can't take a scratch! I thought you couldn't get any more pathetic," I laughed until I fell on my back and held my aching stomach. Priceless.

"But it stings," she whined, holding up her hand to her brother to kiss it. "You try being scratched!" With that, she picked up kitten Allen, holding his right forepaw and squeezing it, making his claws unsheathe. She swiped them across my face, feeling accomplished before realizing I had no intial reaction.

"Doesn't that hurt?"

"Not really... Should it? Anyway, I think they should bunk in my room."

Lavi rested his arm on top of my head, right in between my ears. "They should. Kutoka can take care of them better than any of us."

Lenalee pouted, glaring at Lavi and I. Mostly me. She crossed her arms over her breasts and stomped on the floor like a spoiled child not getting the new toy in a toystore."Give me five reasons why they should sleep with you in your, might I add, dirty, disgusting, musty, bland room."

"Well first, my room is none of that, and you know it bitch! It was rather clean and smells like my old room at my dad's palace. Like an forest that is in both spring and autumn!" Komui was fuming in the background. "1.) I'm a neko hanyou(3). I can understand them, and I have what they might need to live as cats. 2.) You would suffocate them in their sleep! 3.) My room is bigger. 4.) Since they are now cats, I am now the strongest Exorcist in the Order. I can better protect them. And 5.) I don't run to my older brother when I get a little, itty, bitty scratch!"

"That last one doesn't count."

"All cuz you say it doesn't, doesn't mean it doesn't count."

"That doesn't make sense."

"It does if you have a brain. Oh wait, I forgot, you don't have a brain. Baka onna!"

"I ain't a baka onna(4), bitch!"

"I ain't a female dog, you whore!" With that, I tackled Lenalee to the floor, pinning her and kicking up a dust cloud that censored our fight.

*Lavi POV*

"I ain't a female dog, you whore!" Kutoka shouted, and I watch her tackle Lena to the ground. What happened to Kutoka being weaker than during the waning half-moon?

Hair was pulled, faces were scratched, and I think I heard a jaw clench onto a limb.

Why can't they just get along?'

"Ow!" I heard Lenalee screech as the dust settled and Lenalee was sitting while Kutoka was on all fours. "She bit me. Can't you fight civilized?" The green-haired Chinese teen glared at the silverette Japanese/British girl, who had a toothy smirk dancing on her lips, giving the world full view of her canines.

"My apologies, but last time I heard a fight was civilized was...um...NEVER!"

"Of course, you wouldn't. You're an animal whose mother raised to be a savage."

"Animal!? I might be part cat, but that doesn't make me an animal! In the whole Dark Religious Organization, you are the most animalistic. And what was that about Zelda(5)?"

Kutoka flexed her claws threatenly at Lenalee, and sent an aurum glare that would make Kanda proud and the Noahs shake in their ash skin. I swear I thought I saw her eyes darken like Allen's when his cursed eye activates. Her tail bristled, and if you squinted slightly, you could see the tips of her silver-gray hair rise like a cat or dog's scruff would when they growl and are about to tear something, or someone, open. A deep growl echoed from the bottom of her throat. Shivers went down my back as the room seemed to get colder. Any colder, I thought I might see my breath. If you looked very close, I swear I thought I saw the outline of a black aura surrounding the whole room and something like heat waves were emitting from Kutoka, the aura vibrating so fast that it felt like a tiny earthquake. Wind gathered in the center, where Kutoka was, and swirled like a gentle breeze growing into a vicious storm. Papers flew, books jumped from the shelves, Komui's desk was shaking like mad and anyone with long hair had the air tug their locks high above them.

"Lavi..." I heard a double-layered voice call out to me. One sounded like Kutoka with strep throat and another one sounded demonic and evil. One I'm familiar with, and hoped I would never encounter again. "Get them out...now... Take them to my room."

The voice was shaking and Kutoka was breathing heavily like she was trying to stay calm. She herself was shaking. The black aura was steadily growing darker and darker, bringing the room temperature along with it. I quickly grab Yuu-chan and Moyashi-chan, and bolted out the open doors.

'God dammit, why did it have to come down to this? Why can't Lenalee stop mocking Neko-chan? Why can't Neko-chan control her temper?'

*Kutoka POV*

I watch helplessly as my demon blood took over my mind. I couldn't control my body, I couldn't hold DS(6) down. She wants to tear something, someone, open. The only option is the Chinese teen in front of me, looking scared like the pansy she is. She activated her Innocence, gliding through the chilled wind my auratsu(7) created, most likely to keep Lenalee and me separated. But Lenalee, being the idiot and human she is, she easily walked through the barrier to get to me. I really need to work on making my barrier stronger.

I, more like DS, kept my black eyes on Lenalee, patiently waiting for her to make a move. Like a cat stalking a mouse. Then in a flash, Lenalee attacks.

"Waltz Mist," she shouted, sending a tornado towards me. With DS in control, I was faster, so I can easily dodge it like always. I flexed my claws and charged Lenalee. Why didn't I activate my Innocence. Two reasons. One, I believe since I am full demon at this time, my own Innocence will hurt me, like Allen's did when he stabbed himself, and two, I don't think DS even knows how to activate Inkheart.

I charged Lenalee, clawing her leg as I ran past. My claws dripped her crimson life fluid and I felt ecstatic. I want more.

*Allen POV*

I felt Lavi's strong hands scoop me up with Kanda on his right shoulder. The wind blew and roared in my ears as we ran out of Komui's office with said owner of the office behind us, leaving Sister and Lenalee to battle. Every stride Lavi took sent vibrations through my body, which sent waves of pain and soreness. My body was sore from the experiment Komui put I and Kanda through, and my mind and senses were numb as well. I buried my head into the redhead's bicep, trying to rub off my pain onto Lavi, which I had no idea why I though that would work. Maybe since I'm a feline now, I enjoy any physical contact. No... Kutoka is very cautious on who can pet her. She lets the other Exorcists pet her, but obviously not complete strangers and people not trustworthy in her book.

"You guys okay? Feel sore, hungry, sleepy? Anything, just tell me," said Lavi in his gentle voice he uses when women or young children are crying. Kanda raised an nonexistent brow and gave him a strange look.

"Moyashi, can he understand us," Kanda meowed.

"I have no idea," I responded. Maybe. He did hang with Kutoka during the full moon a lot.

"Don't doubt me, guys. I can at least read your body language. How do you think I can have full conversations with your sister, Moyashi-chan?"

I growled and hissed at the redhead, but quickly stop when I heard a loud explosion. A lithe body flew up next to the balcony, followed by another smaller growling one. The smaller grabbed the first and slammed it back down to the ground floor, following it in break-neck speed. Lavi jumped back closer to the wall, and started running again even faster until we hit the floor right above the Exorcist dorm floor. He slid to a stop in front of a door right next to the staircase. Who's room was this? Not mine or Kanda's. We past our floor already. Lavi's? No...Kutoka's? I think I heard her say to go to her room. We entered and Lavi locked the door behind him. He placed us on the bed. The bed was soft and cool, which subsided the already fading pain.

Kanda and I watched as Lavi opened a nearby door, probably a closet, and pulled out a fluffy blanket. He laid the blanket at the foot of the twin bed, and motioned us to lay on it. I did what he said, and flopped on the violet fabric. Kanda was a little hesitate, staying where he was.

"Come on, Kanda! What are you waiting for?"

"I don't feel comfortable in your sister's room. When she became an official Exorcist, she made it very clear that no one, unless if they were sent to summon her, could or would ever come in without her. Emergencies, depending on the situation, can be excusable."

My ear flicked in annoyance, and I rose from my now warm spot on the bed. Heading towards Kanda, my tail hung low, slowly bobbing up and down. I stretched my neck to meet Kanda's eye level, getting a shocked expression and a paw pushing my face away.

"Moyashi, get out of my face," the older cat growled, baring his fangs. I backed away and flattened my body against the bed, suddenly afraid of my comrade. My ears flatten down against my head and curled my tail around myself protectively like a child in bed, hiding from the monsters. Curled up like this, I realized how big Kanda is compared to me now. But I'm not standing, so he looks like a giant right now.

"Oi, Kanda," said Lavi who was surprisingly quiet this whole time. He sounds mad, and probably is since he didn't say 'Yuu-chan'. "I go out to check if the girls are done mauling each other, and I find you growling at Allen?" Damn, he used my name. Scary. "Allen is a kit now, so he's most likely going to start acting like one. You're the adult between the two of you, so start acting like it."

I've never seen Lavi this angry before. It's overall disturbing and wrong.

Kanda seemed disturbed by the ginger's sudden temper. This doesn't surprise me much. No one has ever seen Lavi explode like that on anyone, let alone Kanda of all people. Kanda had leaned back away from the fuming rabbit. His ears flatten against his head, but unlike mine that flattened sideways real low, his ears flattened back and he let lose a low warning growl and lower into a crouch.

Lavi raised a red eyebrow. "What do you take me for, Kanda? I spent hundreds of full moon nights with Kutoka. She's worse."

Kanda hissed, then jumping down from the raised bed, padding over to a window with a wall bench. He sat in front of the window, looking at the night sky. His usual scowl was still on his face, just a little deeper. It made my heart sink like a stone in a water well. I'm going to say this once and once only. I'm used to Kanda getting mad at me, being disappointed of me, but since a few weeks ago, around a month ago, I've been actually afraid of disappointing Kanda. In the beginning of this month ago, some lady Finders have actually built enough courage to walk up to Kanda, then have enough nerve to ask him to be their boyfriend. I don't know why, but I didn't like it. Not one bit. I would glare at them as he refuse their request, and they stalked away. From the first incident, I've been why I was behaving how I was. Heh... Even after a month of pure thought and some advice from a 'special friend'(8) inside my head. What this feeling is... I doubt I'll know anytime soon.

I straightened up, taking an uncertain step towards the older cat, but quickly taking it back. As if he would want to see the one responsible for getting him scolded by the Order's resident nuisance like an incompetent 4-year-old. Lavi must have notice my clearly obvious disheartenment and sat down on the bed next to me.

"Eh, he'll get over it, Allen. Don't worry about it." Lavi picked me up and sat me on his cross-legged lap, and scratched me behind my ear. This is probably, more accurately, is, a cat thing, but it felt wonderful. Instinctively, I leaned into his gentle fingers and touch, not wanting it to stop. It felt so good that something foreign erupted from my voice box.

"Awww, your first purr. And Kutoka missed it."

I blushed under my fur, and hid my face in Lavi's thigh, just above his knee. Lavi laughed, and ran his calloused hand down my back. Delightful and heavenly.

"Ha, Allen-chan likes to be pet."

I glared at the towering ginger, flattening my ears like Kanda, swishing my tail back and forth. It didn't do anything for me, but make me look a whole lot cuter.

"Stop with the cute, or I'm going to fan boy. Okay, stay here. I'm going to check if the girls are done."

I nodded, curling back up on the blanket. I looked back at Kanda by the window. He's now laying down with his paws under him, still staring at the sky. I sighed. I wanted to apologize for getting him in trouble, but I doubt he would want to hear it from me right now. I closed my eyelids, letting sleep take me.

*Kanda's POV*

'Stupid usagi... I'll beat his head when I'm human again...'

I looked away from the window for a minute, catching a glance of the usagi leaving, and the moyashi watching him. I would glare at the white kit, but finding that I couldn't. Noticing he was turning his head towards me, I turned my attention towards the window again. Looking at his reflection on the glass, I saw sorrow and guilt in those silver pools.

'Why does he feel guilty? I growled at him for getting in my face. Basically, for being a kit. I'm the one at fault...'

A sigh broke through my thoughts and I saw him lie down to sleep in the window. He immediately fell asleep when he shut his eyes. I don't blame him, today was tiring enough as it is from the mission, let alone adding tests and potions to it. I stood up, and walked over to the bed. Even jumping onto the bed with a sloppy finish didn't seem to wake the moyashi up. I'm glad. If he did wake up, he would run somewhere, anywhere away from me. I still don't blame him. I scared the living daylights out of him. I looked at the door, trying to listen beyond it. Nothing. I nodded to myself, and softly padded over to the white ball of fuzz.

I gave him a lick on the ear, and curled myself around him. This felt right, but I was confused about the reason for this. I don't care... I even kind of liked it. Soon enough, I joined my moyashi in dreamland.

'Hmmm...'my moyashi' has a nice ring to it. I think I'll keep it.'

*3rd POV*

Just outside the door sat two giddy Exorcists.

"So cute! They are perfect together," whispered Kutoka, who had just returned from the fight, covered in scratches, cuts, and blood.

"Told you. And do please get a shower, you're filthy."

Kutoka pouted. "But you said I was adorable covered in my enemy's blood."

"Yeah, but you're cuter all clean and sparkling."

Kutoka playfully punched her love in the shoulder, then entered her room, high-tailing it to the bathroom.

Lavi laid down on the bed, boots and shirt off. (NO THEY AREN'T GOING AT IT! ONE, KANDA AND ALLEN ARE IN THE SAME ROOM AND TWO, I DON'T TYPE THAT KIND OF FANFICS. THAT'S MORE KASAI'S THING CUZ SHE KNOWS MORE.)

"Tonight was a weird night...," Lavi said to himself.

"Tell me about it," said Kutoka, standing over Lavi in a nightgown, her white hair still dripping.

"Damn, that was fast."

"I only rinsed off." Lavi smirked, grabbing the shorter girl around the waist, and pulling her to his chest. He buried his nose in her hair, giving it a short sniff.

"You still smell like a forest."

"Shut up and go to sleep," she growled gently, rolling off Lavi and onto the bed. She curled up and fell asleep. Lavi snaked his arm around her waist, lifting his feet to make room for the two cats at the foot of the bed, following Kutoka.

(1): neko - cat

(2): Nii-san - I hear many anime people say this to their big brothers. Unfortunately(to Kutoka's dismay) Lenalee is included. So it's informal for big brother(?)

(3): neko hanyou - cat half-demon or half cat demon

(4): baka onna - idiot girl

(5): Zelda - German name meaning Female Warrior and Kutoka's adoptive mother.

(6): DS is what the OC Kutoka calls her demon side. Just calls her that for lack of DS not having a name and lack of Kutoka having a more creative imagination.

(7): I just made it up. It has no meaning, no origin. Just a word that is the same thing as aura and reiatsu(from Bleach). Does the same thing as both.

(8): Everyone's favorite Noah/Uncle, Neah

Mysterious Child(MC):Lavi is my boyfriend so back off you crazy fangirls!

Kutoka: Hey I thought I was Lavi's girlfriend. Wait that's the OC/ my soul going inside the DGM universe.

Azuli: Nope, Sis you only take Yuu's place when she isn't there.

Kutoka: *slaps Azuli upside the head* I remember now, dipshit.
