The Little Things

Bolin finished buttoning up his shirt. He was just about to leave the house and go to the pro-bending arena gym to practice with his team. "Bolin," he heard a sweet voice from behind him. He turned around to face his bed.

Sitting in his bed with her beautiful hair flowing down was Korra. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, before getting up. She held a green cloth belt in her hand as she walked up to the earthbender. "I didn't mean to wake you, I know how much you hate the mornings," Bolin apologized.

Korra gave him a small smile. "I think you forgot this." She stopped in front of Bolin with the belt in both hands. She wrapped it around his waist and tied it in a knot on the side just like he always did. "There, that looks better."

"Thanks, Korra," Bolin said.

Korra placed her hands on top of his shoulders. She pushed herself up on her toes and kissed Bolin lightly on the lips. Her eyes descended shut. Bolin kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist and shut his eyes.

They stayed there for a moment before Korra broke the kiss. Korra lowered herself back to the ground. She gently placed her hand on her boyfriend's cheek. She stared into his kind green eyes with hers showing just as much affection. "Have a good practice today."

"I will," Bolin said with a smile. He gave Korra a kiss on the cheek before he left the room. Korra went back to bed before she had to go back to air temple island to train with Tenzin.

Korra sat on the couch in the living room of Mako and Bolin's apartment. She was reading a magazine as the sun was setting outside. The door opened that got the Avatar's attention. Bolin entered the apartment with his hands behind his back.

"Hey, Bo," Korra greeted. She raised her eyebrow curious to why the boy was walking into his own apart like he was hiding something. "What do you have behind your back?" She pointed toward his back.

"Here, I got you this." He stepped up in front of Korra and stuck out a bouquet of flowers and a bag with two cupcakes in it. "I stopped by the flower shop and bakery on my way home. I hope you like it."

Korra took the gifts. "I love them, Bolin." She gave him a small smile.

Bolin placed his hand on Korra's legs and bent down to kiss Korra. He then stood back up, placing his fist on his hips. "Hey, what do you say we go out for some seaweed noodles?"

"That sounds great," Korra responded. She stood up and the two headed out the door.

Later that night, Bolin and Korra lay in Bolin's bed. Bolin had his arm wrapped around Korra's shoulders with the other one circling her belly. "So what do you think you want to name it?" Bolin asked.

"I don't know," Korra confessed. She placed her finger beside her mouth. "I was thinking Kana if it's a girl, but I don't know what name to pick if it's a boy."

"How about Zen, because he could be very peaceful and not cry….a lot," Bolin said, hoping their future child wouldn't have them going up the walls with their crying and screaming.

Korra looked over at her boyfriend. "But that's more of a Fire Nation name." She looked down at her belly with her hands on top of it. "Our baby would probably be an earthbender or a waterbender. I think it should be something from one of nation's names."

Bolin rolled his eyes up. "A name that's Earth Kingdom, huh…? How about Shu, I heard that was the name of a famous earthbender a long time ago."

"That sounds nice. Kana or Shu one of them will be our baby's name." Korra smiled.
