Nightmares

King Harold of Far Far Away was running down the hall to his and his wife's bedroom. He just got a message that Queen Lillian has gone into labor. Once he found out he ran as fast as he could from his office. Once at the doors he heard a loud scream, he pushed open the doors and saw Lillian holding their new child in her arms. She looked up and smiled weakly, he slowly walked over to them in shock. "Come here Harold, meet our daughter Fiona." Lillian whispered. He smiled and stared at the both of them, Lillian had a special gleam in her eye now. Harold bent down and gently kissed Lillian's forehead "I love you." she smiled and whispered "I love you too.". Fiona started crying and the new parents smiled "Well, she does have a good set of lungs on her." Harold said, Lillian laughed a little and gently started bouncing Fiona. But then Fiona stopped crying, then moving. Harold's eyes shot open and Lillian didn't move a muscle. "What's-what's wrong?" Lillian asked, Fiona started turning blue. Her eyes were wide open. "Doctors! We need you in here! Now!" Harold yelled, he looked back at Lillian and saw her slumped over. "Lillian? Lillian!" he gently shook her, but her head fell to the side. Doctors and nurses rushed in and a pushed Harold out of the room. All he heard we people yelling, he couldn't comprehend what was going on. So he sat down on the floor outside their bedroom. Exactly 15 minutes later the head doctor walked out covered in blood "I'm sorry Your Majesty. We lost the baby.". Harold stood up but almost lost his balance, one moment his family was happy and the next his first child was ripped away from them. "What happened?" he asked angrily, the doctor rubbed his forehead and sighed "We don't know.". Harold nodded and his eyes shot open "And Lillian?" the doctor set his hand on the young kings shoulder. "We couldn't save her, she was internally bleeding. We couldn't stop it.". Harold fell to the ground. His wife, and daughter were both dead. How could this be? Why? Tears were streaming down his face and onto the floor. The doctor left his side and walked back into the room. Harold couldn't live without Lillian, he couldn't. There was no way. He turned and looked at the knight that was standing on the other side of the hallway. Doing his job by watching over the king. Harold walked over to him and grabbed his sword so fast the knight had no idea what was going on. Harold brought the sword up to his throat and slit it. He chocked on his own blood and fell to the floor. Blood was pouring out of his neck and onto the wood floor beneath him. The knight yelled for help, but it was no use. The king, the queen, and the princess were now...dead.

Harold sat up in bed covered in sweat and breathing heavily. He looked around and noticed he was in his bedroom, in his bed. It was 2:30 in the morning but his room was lit up by the full moons light. Harold looked to his right and saw Lillian fast asleep. With one arm underneath her pillow and the other resting on the bed. He took a deep breath and laid back down, he looked up at the ceiling thinking about the terrible dream. Lillian rolled over and half way asleep asked "Are you alright honey?" Harold smiled and whispered "I'm fine. Go back to sleep.". Lillian moved over more and rested her head on his chest. Harold wrapped his arms around her, kissed her forehead. And went back to sleep as well.

Scared you? Hehe! But I was bored, and this randomly popped into my mind. Hope you liked it! Even though it was kind of sad.
