Ryoga groaned for the umpteenth time that night. What a pain this was, really. Playing dress up was for kiddies, or at least that's how he saw it. Oh who was he kidding? He absolutely loathed the situation he was in at the moment.

"Oi, Ryoga!"

Another groan. Said grumpypants sent an uninterested glance towards the other, who looked just as ridiculous as the rest of the lot. "What is it, IV?"

The older boy smirked, waltzing over to his friend and placing his hand atop his head in a teasing manner. It was an odd sort of friendly gesture, void of any ill intentions he once held against the other. The laugh that follows doesn't settle so well with Ryoga, though.

"Why don't you turn that frown upside?" He ruffled the unruly purple hair. "It's Halloween! Lighten up a bit, will ya?"

Ryoga huffed. To be honest, he'd be a little more content if he didn't have to… well, wear this ridiculous getup. "Easier said than done."

IV rolled his eyes. "What, disappointed with the candy? The decorations? What's going on in that head of yours?"

Aaaaaaaaand he completely missed the one thing that was really bothering him. It's an annoying habit of his, and Ryoga is doubtful that IV will ever break that habit. Surprisingly, he's not sure if he considers that an entirely bad outlook.

"I think I should be asking you that."

IV continues to grin. Idiot. "What?"

"What's going on in your head?"

"Hm…" He crosses his arms, continuing to hum slightly. Whether or not this was an act was a mystery to Ryoga. Fanservice my ass, he reminds himself.

"There's nothing wrong with me!"

Well fuck.

"Then why the hell am I in this shark costume?!"

IV threw an arm around Ryoga's shoulders, laughing loudly. "Ryoga, Ryoga! It seems as though I've forgotten to tell you my plans for tonight!"

Plans? What plans— Oh no.

"…What is it then?" He's practically growling at this point, growing increasingly irritable at his friend's boisterous attitude.

IV smirks, guiding him into the other room. Much to Ryoga's surprise, the room is decked out in what appears to be a scene out of a movie. What movie though, was beyond the younger boy. IV releases his hold on Ryoga, his arms held out wide in a dramatic display.

"Welcome Ryoga, to the reenactment of Jaws! And tonight, you will be the star of the show!"

Never had Ryoga wanted to strip out of a costume so quickly following this introduction.
