"Sakura. S-A-K-U-R-A. Sakura."
"Hey! That's not fair! That's her name!" The seven year old Naruto yelled out.
"The words just come randomly. She was lucky. Now its your turn Naruto." Iruka said. He was giving them a random spelling bee in class. To pass the time while they were waiting for the Jounin to show them the substitution jutsu.
"Okay, Naruto spell 'academy'."
"Academy. A-C-A-D-E-M-Y. Academy." Naruto is not that dumb.
"Good. Sasuke. Spell 'kunai'."
"Kunai. K-U-N-A-I. Kunai." Yes. Even Sasuke was trying to win the spelling bee. His pride might get damaged if he loses especially if he loses to his own special crush.
"Correct. Shikamaru. Spell 'clouds'."
...
"Ino. Spell 'genre'."
"Genre. uh.. J-A-N-R-A. Genre."
"Wrong. Not all words are spelled with their corresponding sounds." Ino just nodded and sat down. The only ones left standing were Sasuke and Sakura.
"Sakura. Spell 'excellent'."
"Excellent. E-"
"Yo." In came Kakashi in all his late glory.
Iruka just nodded and said "You two may be seated."

Sakura was just heading home from school when a paper flew to her face. She caught it and opened it up.
