"Mom, I'm ready for school." Flee said as her big brother Jack came walking down the stairs towards her. "Hey, isn't school off today? My silly-silly sister?" Jack teased. "Yes, but…. It is Monday. If school's off, then mom gets to teach us! Isn't that great, Jack?" Jack was about to say something very rude. But he kept his mouth shut, then they both heard something crash into the window of their house. Jack spun around and what he saw was something flying away. It appeared to be an owl. It stopped to look at Jack for a moment then it flew away and vanished in thin air. Jack was curious to know if there was anything it had in its claws. He opened the window then something caught his eye. It was a letter for him. When he opened the letter, it read:
Dear Mr. Jack Overland,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please Find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1st September. We await your owl by no later than 31st July.
