I wrote this awhile ago for a different category-but I decided to change it. I think It's gonna be a one shot, hope you enjoy...
Its raining out, He's to broken to even care.
his body is shivering, but his heart is broken. No longer solid
He doesn't want to stand up, but he knows the cold rain beating down on him is to much. He knows that if he doesn't get inside soon he'll freeze.
But he doesn't think he should care, he's about to walk away. A voice calls him.
He wants to run now. Can't stand the fact that his friend is hovering over him, in the pouring rain, watching him cry.
"we were so worried" Adam's voice echoes, Tommy doesn't answer. He clings onto him barely standing up. The other friend laughs gives him a smile ,opens his umbrella ,they walk back to the bus.
the lights on the streets are dim, washed out by the rain. He has squint his eyes as he walks, barely making out street names.
when they enter through the familiar sliding doors, he already knows there waiting for him. Just like friends should.
his cloths are soaking wet as he stands there door ajar. shaking, and cold ,as his cloths cling to him.
his friends pester him, all talking at once worried tones illuminating up their faces.
He doesn't even blink.
broken zoning in and out. A loophole of twisted thoughts rummaging through his mind.
He's fully in the room now, their still integrating him, talking at once. Bombarding him with questions, that slip silently off there tongues but make no sounds. He feels like he's sufficing.
Are you okay?
do you want to catch a cold out there?
are freakin' crazy?
He doesn't pay attention, the voices turn into a blur blending into irrelevance. He feels like he's falling but in reality he hasn't budged.
but it all changes, ever so quickly. His hands go over his face blocking out everything pure trying to hold back tears, but they seem to come out so effortlessly.
the room stops then, everyone's looking, staring. He breaks down, falls on his knee's. they all go and comfort him.
He doesn't move, lets them tell him "its okay, its just a break up". He doesn't agree, and they don't believe his petty nods that say he's fine.
it alright man everything's gonna be okay
They continue giving him comforting answer's, He desperately tries to shake them off. They won't go away.
Its alright man everything's gonna be okay
Things getting better? maybe they will, but not now. Not whens he's crying in-front of his friends. shedding tears that could make an army cry.
and the worst is Adam's here. comforting him, with mascara running down his face and bloodshot eyes.
