Fallen Star
Wish upon me; give me a reason to live again.
Disclaimer: Of course I don't own Death Note, or its characters. Would I be here writing fanfiction for it if I did?
A/N: Early today (3-26-12), I had a thought about fallen stars. Of course, I pondered about it, with so much thought that I decided to make a story on it. Then of course, Seventh Hour Science being a bitch like it is, had to ruin it. .-. Let's just say, that our solar system doesn't have any stars other than the sun, and that there are no fallen stars. (Yeah, it hit the mark there) But I decided to hell with physics, and just wrote the story out anyways.
Sadly, I don't think this count as a story.
But I hope you enjoy anyways.
I was once considered one of the brightest in Wammys Orphanage. One who would accomplish great things in life, awesome things; and I did, just not in the way they thought I would. At Wammys, being considered one of the brightest is like being called the brightest star that outshone the others. Granted, there were other stars that shined brighter than me at some point in time, but now I guess it doesn't matter.
I, Beyond Birthday, have lost his placed to remain in the Heavens with the stars. Whose hands are stained with blood (As this thought crossed my mind, I wondered; weren't my hands always stained in blood?) fell from the above into the bitter unknown that calls upon my agony.
I am a fallen star. I am forsaken, so to say. All those who have watched me fall, turned away to watch their own demises.
Like I said, I am a fallen star.
All I wish for now, that life seems to have no meaning for me, is that they wished upon my demise, and watched happily (Content that their wishes have been heard, whoever was watching me fall) as I fell.
For only I knew all along, that they were wishing on a fallen star.
Review, Favorite, or whatever the hell you do on stories you read.
