Vincent was working on a report for Dr. Crawler's class when there was a knock at his dorm room door. He sighed stood up, walked over to the door and opened it. There he saw Felicia standing there looking slightly worried. Before he could even invite her in, she pushed past him and sat down on his bed. Vincent sighed as he closed the door and sat back down to continue his report. No sooner had he started than Felicia said something, "Vince... I... I need to talk to you..." Vincent immediately stopped and turned towards her, Felicia never sounded like this, something must've been wrong. He looked at her and she looked away, something was bothering her. Vincent said, "What is it Felicia, what's wrong? Is there anything I can do?" Felicia merely smiled sadly at his offer and said, "I... I'm trying to think of how to tell you this... We've been close friends for a long time, right?" Vincent nodded in affirmation, sure Fel annoyed him sometimes, but she was still kind of his best friend. She smiled slightly, but her expression returned back to worry as she spoke, "And... I mean... I've been trying to... to hide my feelings because I thought it would hurt our friendship..." Vincent merely cocked his head to the side, wondering what she was talking about. She saw this and elaborated, "I... I like you Vince... not just as a friend, but as something... more. I... I think I love you." Vincent nearly fell out of his chair at those words; he had never expected this, he never saw Felicia in that light. Vincent had always seen them as just friends; he never thought that Felicia might have had feelings for him. He stammered for a bit, calmed himself down and said, "You think you... Fel, I don't... know how to respond to that... I've never really seen us as anything but close friends..." Felicia's face fell at these words, and Vincent quickly tried to rectify his mistake, "I've just never thought about it is all, I mean, we've known each other for ages and- mmph!" Felicia just brought her face to his and kissed him while he tried to talk. She brought her face away from his and said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that... It wasn't..." Vincent put a hand to her lips and shushed her. He understood; as little as he thought about it before, he was a quick thinker; why else would he be in Ra? He looked into her eyes and said, "I get it Fel. I see what you're feeling and I feel like an idiot for never noticing it. If you want us to be more than friends, I'd be glad." Felicia smiled at Vincent's odd way of speaking, due to his mix of Japanese and European. Vincent took his hand away from her mouth and moved is head in to kiss her and so did she. Their lips met and their tongues entwined, Vincent wrapped one arm around her and she replied in kind, the two of them stayed like that for a long while. After parting Felicia smiled in a way Vincent had never seen her, and said, "Thank you Vince... I'm happy. At last I know that you can feel the same about me... I'll let you get back to your report. I'll see you." Felicia stood up and kissed Vince on top of his head. She walked towards the door and said, "Goodbye Vince..." She walked out, leaving Vincent with a question, which he asked to the empty room "Why 'Goodbye'? Why not see you later? What are you going to do Fel?"
Felicia stood on a cliff, the sharp rocks below being pounded by waves. She smiled to herself and said, out loud to no one, "At least now I know... I can go happy now... he doesn't need me anymore." With that she leapt off the cliff, never to be seen or heard from again. No one ever found her body; no one ever knew what happened to her. For all intents and purposes, she just disappeared.
