It was a typical afternoon at Stan Marsh's house. Stan was with his friends, Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Kenny McCormick and Butters Stotch. They were in the living room, watching a rerun of I Love Lucy on Stan's 48-inch widescreen TV on a local station that had an afternoon block of classic programming. The Lucy episode was just coming to an end…
"I love you, Lucy," Ricky Ricardo said, holding hands with Lucille McGillicuddy-Ricardo.
"I love you too, Ricky," Lucy said, and they both kissed, the episode closing out on the famous heart background. The closing credits began to roll as the distinct I Love Lucy theme music began playing. A little later into the credits…
"You know my mom says there's a scary logo at the end," Cartman said.
"What are you talking about, Cartman?" Stan said. Cartman was known to exaggerate at times.
"The Viacom V of Doom," Cartman replied.
"What's that?" Kyle asked, looking suspicious.
Cartman explained, "It's this dark blue abstract 'V' on a light blue background. It zooms in and takes up the whole screen, and it has a five-note synth tune with a tympani drumroll."
"When are they going to show it?" Butters asked.
"Right at the end of this show," Cartman said, not sounding the least bit nervous.
The credits then came to an end, as the Desilu credit appeared. "I Love Lucy is a Desilu production," the announcer said. But then the screen flashed to a light blue background as the "V of Doom" logo started up, with "A Viacom Presentation" hurled toward the screen, followed by the abstract blue V, which then crashed through the screen. The boys jumped out of the way except Kenny, as the "V" logo crushed Kenny, killing him in the process. The "V" then disappeared, and all that was left was broken glass from the TV screen, and Kenny's bloody mangled corpse.
"Oh my God!" Stan gasped. "Viacom killed Kenny!"
"You bastards!" Kyle screeched.
