ㅡㅡㅡ

A permanent dark cloud had hung over his figure, consistent in its attempts to conceal the mellow luminescent in with a bleak grey that clung to every single surface in sight. His world was insipid, monochrome seeping into every week, flashing away any potential colours as though they were harmful weeds.

That was before he'd left the benevolence of her being; the tender affection she could display in such simplistic gestures. The way she'd called out his name, soothing his ears just like a lullaby which is eradicating the melancholic of his day with an abundance of brightness that could melt even the most frigid of ice.

The smiles she'd flash his way, ousting the hatred of his heart.

He smiled.

Latching onto his hand, interlacing her fingers with his own, a sign of trust. Trust that she'd lead him through this vibrant world, that she'd help him exit the darkness completely.

ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ

It's been two years since she last saw him.

She never knew that he'll leave her just like he always do to other women that he had flirt before.

"Hey, have you ever heard of mistletoe?" he asks, pointing his finger to the plant above them.

She raised an eyebrow, tucking a stray of blonde hair behind her ear. "Nope, why?"

Dazai leans in and kisses her, lips softly brushing each other. He putted his hand down to her waist as he pulled her closer against his body while exchanging kisses with her, but soon pulled back to catch a breath.

"What was that, Dazai?" she asked, still stuck from the kiss.

"Once you saw a mistletoe you have to kiss your beloved partner."

'Liar. I am not even your lover. '

"Fortunately, I found one and it seems we will pass more of them~" he said, and started to walk leaving the girl behind.

'How unlucky I am.'
