It had been 4 years, 4 long and hard years but finally he was back.

As he strolled in through the doors of the huge mansion he looked around and began to sniff. I know he knew I was there, he always knew, but nether the less I always tried. Before I got to him he was ambushed by most of the new freshman girls that had come during his years away. I saw him look my way trying to get through the ocean of pretty girls, so I tried to ease the transaction and told him I'd catch him latter. As soon as I left I ran for my room and cried myself to sleep as I had been doing since the day he left.

Later that day after I woke up I went to dinner were he found me talking to my friends.

"Can I talk to you, it's important" he whispered in my ear.

"Hey guys I'll be right back" was all I told them before leaving with him. "What is it?" I asked him.

"Marie I've wanted to tell you something for a while now." He said, I tried not to get my hopes up, I mean who would like me anyway I'm rouge remember.

"Yes?"

"Well….."BOOM!!

"What was that?" I yelled but it was too late the roof around us bean to collapse, the last thing I saw was Logan trying to shield my body with his.

TWO WEEKS LATER

When I woke up I couldn't remember how I got there. All of a sudden I saw a movement out of the corner of my eye. Jumping up to investigate was the first thing that came into my mind. After doing it though I discover it was not the best thing to do. The man pounced on me, which made me at first think he was attacking, only to realize he was hugging me.

The man didn't seem like the hugging type, but I could be wrong.

"I'm sorry I should have seen it coming. I love you, man I love you so much."

"Logan? What happened? Is everyone okay? Wait did you just say you loved me?" I asked hope seeping through every word I spoke.

"Don't worry everyone's fine they're just worried about you. The roof around us collapsed and you wouldn't wake up, we were so worried."

"Logan you didn't answer my question, did you just say you loved me" I repeated the question hoping to finally get my answer.

However he only answered with a shy, quiet voice "yes."

"Don't be shy its okay I love you too."I replied hoping he meant what I thought he meant.

"Really?"

"yes!"

For the past 25 years Logan and Marie have been happily married with 2 kids and 1 on its way.
