Summer's POV
It's seems like everything has been going wrong lately. Seth is still missing. Coop is on the edge of breaking down. Ryan is back in Chino. My dad and step monster are on some vacation somewhere. I just want everything to go back to normal. I want my best friend happy again. And that means Ryan needs to come home. I need Seth back because unfortunately I miss him and I think I'm in love with him. And to make matters worse today is my first day Senior year. Isn't it supposed to be the best time of my life? Then why do I feel so depressed?
" Summer, Summer Roberts." Someone said leaning against my locker.
" What do you want Zack?" I asked with a hint of an attitude.
" A date with you." He said slyly.
" Not interested." I said slamming my locker.
" You really need to lose the nerd. He's bringing down your reputation." He told me.
" Don't tell me how I can and can not date!" I hissed. I walked more like ran into the girls bathroom and lock the door so I could be alone. Did I really need to give up on Seth? He did just leave me high and dry to go sail god knows where. My thoughts where interrupted by the sounds of, ' Somebody Told Me,' poring out of my cell phone.
" Hello." I said.
" Miss Roberts?" The voice asked.
" Yes."
" This is Doctor Comeau office calling. We have your test results back." She told me.
I made my way up the steep drive way. I haven't been here in almost two months. But Kirsten and Sandy had a right to know, right? I pressed the oval shaped door bell and waited for a response.
" Summer, come in." Sandy said when he answered the door.
" Thank you Mister Cohen." I said.
" Summer I told you time and time again, call me Sandy." He laughed.
" Ok, thank you Sandy." I followed him into the kitchen where I saw Kirsten sitting at the table with coffee, a bagel and the news paper.
" Kirsten, we have company." Sand informed her.
" Summer." She said when she turned around.
" Hi Kirsten." I waved. " I'm sorry to drop by like this, but I need to tell you guys something." I told them.
" Is it about Seth?" Kirsten.
" Not entirely but Seth did help." I said.
" Okay." Sandy said.
" I'm pregnant."
