The Ultimate Speed Machine!

Have you ever wondered if there was ever a broomstick that was ultimatly the...ultimate? Just this very year, a young witch noticed that during her Quidditch proctices, the new Firebolt wasn't performing in a satisfying way for her and the other players, on the professional Quidditch team of the Appleby Arrows. (Surprised?) Though very sleek, fast and handsome, the Firebolt couldn't perform some new tactics that her team had cleverly come up with. Frustrated, the young Laura Madley began searching for any possible trace of a better broom, but found out that the Firebolt was the best one on the wizarding market. After a day of thinking, she finally decided to become the inventor of the wizard world's most prized (and expensive) racing broomstick, although she did not know that at the time, of course.

Finally, after searching for days, the young inventor found an old broomstick that was worn out (with yellow paint on the handle) which she pictured as the "perfect" one. Her family heard scraping, sanding, wire- snapping, and what sounded like small atomic bombs going off, for months on end. Then on December 19th, 2001, the THunderbolt was in existence.

It was so small, that people wondered how you could fly on one. It was unusually comfortable, though. (Some experts say it's because of an invisible cushion, but Laura won't tell.) The Thunderbolt had features like easy navigation, wind speed control, the Horton-Keitch braking charm (which Laura got permission to use), turning 360 degrees in mid-air, speed up to 250 mph, reliability, achieving great heights, safety, and going extremely long distances.

Though Quidditch players all around the world are putting the Thunderbolt up for demand, they aren't on the wizarding market yet.

"No broomstick will ever measure up to the Thunderbolt! With the combination of all the classic broomsticks' wonderful charms invented by clever young witches and wizards centuries ago, it's a revolution!" announced Mr. Stormetta at the Quidditch Convention of London, just last week.

Disclaimer: I did not come up with the Harry Potter stuff, okay? I know you knew that...
