"I seriously must be losing it." I groaned in the corner of Eggman's jail cell. I know, me, Sonic the Hedgehog the prisoner of Egghead, It's crazy, absurd …. But sadly true. I can't think of when or how I got here. All I remember is going to sleep, then waking up in here, my arms sore and bandaged, but otherwise unharmed. I bet egghead did some tests while I was out. The music seems to get louder every minute. Is that … disco? Oh boy, he's celebrating … I got to get out of here! I immediately ran into the bars; only to be slammed back into the brick wall behind me. Oh yeah I already tried that. Darn it! I rubbed the back of my head, groaning in pain. This day can't get any worse… "I see it but I don't believe it" a voice said behind me. I turned around and looked at a certain black hedgehog with red scarlet eyes. Oh God, Shadow, today's just got worse.
Shadow (P.O.V.)
All I could do was stare. I didn't believe it when Miles said Sonic got kidnapped by Eggman. But I came anyway, me and my mixed up feelings. To be truthful, I only cane to get that funny feeling out of my stomach. I don't know what made the feeling, only that the fox and this trouble making hedgehog caused it. Oh boy he's looking at me funny… I put on my 'genuine' smirk, "Your losing your touch faker." I purposely teased. He looked at me with complete embarrassment. "Oh ha Shadow. Why don't you pick on someone your own age? But before you do that do you mind letting me out first?
