Elizabeth stood by the water, letting the waves take her to a different place. A place where decisions weren't made, a place where she didn't have to be in this position, a place where she never had to face pain. As she looked out on the torrent ocean she could feel someone walking up behind her. She turned around hoping to see him, but was only disappointed.

"Oh, it's you" Elizabeth sighed. She gave a weak smile as she pretended as if she was fine.

"Elizabeth I am sorry about your father. It wasn't his time, and you can trust that I will hunt down Beckett if it's the last thing I do." Will looked at her, but seeing that she did not want to talk, quietly bid her goodbye, walked across the Pearl, and went below deck.

Elizabeth went back to staring into the infinite space that she tried to hard to get lost in. Her gaze gradually became lost, as she remembered all of her past memories with her father. She heard footsteps behind her once more, and agitated she turned around and spat out

"Will I don't want-"Elizabeth stopped in mid speech when she saw Jack standing in front of her. Mustering all of the strength she had she spoke trying to sound strong and firm.

"Jack what do you need?" She looked up at him with her pained eyes expecting to see his clever and ingenious eyes, but only saw a look that could be best described as sorrow.

"If you keep holding that in, you will only explode, love." Jack replied. He never moved, hoping that he could get through to her. To move past the wall that she had put up. Elizabeth looked into Jack's eyes and seeing his pure emotion could not keep hers in any longer. She began to sob, and started to fall, but Jack caught her. Standing her up, but never letting go. He held her there for what seemed like an eternity. Elizabeth felt safe in those arms. She felt home in those arms.

After a few more moments Elizabeth had controlled enough to look at Jack. They stood only a few inches apart as he smiled at her. No words were exchanged as he gently brushed her cheek with the back of his hand. Elizabeth glanced hesitantly over to it, and then back to Jack's eyes, questioning what he was doing.

"Lizzie, love,-" Jack softly said before Elizabeth interrupted

"Please don't call me that. It loses meaning when it isn't true." Jack looked at her as if he could see her soul. His serious demeanor commanded her attention as he replied

"What if it is?" Jack started to lean in, now only a couple of inches separated them. Elizabeth looked deeply into his eyes, as if looking would provide her with an answer.

"I thought the sea was your only love" Jack cupped the side of her face and said,

"Don't you see, Lizzie, you are the sea" And with that Captain Jack Sparrow kissed Elizabeth with a fervor that can not be written.\
