Honey
"Can I sleep in your spare bedrroom tonight if it's not too much of a problem?"
"Of course"
"You wanna drink something?" she said, going to kitchen with Cal besides her.
"I already had to much alcohol, water would be good." he admitted, remembering the woman that was with him in the bar earlier.
"So describe your ideal woman" well she's my best friend he thought.
"Okay. Were you in a bar or...?"
"Yeah, yes I was. I met a woman." Her face showed surprise, a bit jealous maybe.
"But she wasn't my kind" she wasn't you
Gillian handled him the cup of water.
"Thanks,luv" Tears in her eyes again. "Oh god. What did I do? Please stop crying, I hate see you crying" He walked in her direction and hugged her.
"I'm sorry, it's nothing. You scared me to death today!" She putted her arms around his waist.
"I know, darlin'. I was terrified too."
"I'm just so happy that you are alright, honey. Really." Cal pushed her gently, just to see her face, and stroked her hair behind her hear. It was the first time Gillian called him like this, with a pet name.
"You should rest a bit, Gill. You need this as much as I need." he smiled. He could be a really charming man when he wasn't being a pain in the arse.
"Can you come with me? I mean... No pressure, I just don't want to be alone" Gillian said, staring the floor.
"Sure. I get it. I would love it" he smiled again.
"Thank you." She said to him. For being with me, for be who you are
"No, thank you"
"Come on" he catched her hand and walked to the room.
