Reikou sat down at the window for the umpteenth time that day, watching the rain drops kiss the cool window. All day long, actually ever since the fight, she'd been pondering about Kakashi. All they did nowadays was fight, which lead up to sex. Was that all their relationship based one? Violent words and stolen, pleasurable moments? No, she didn't want that.
The door slid open and the next thing she knew, her 'love' had his arms wrapped around her. "Missed me?"
She sighed. To be honest or not? Honesty won. "No, not really."
Kakashi frowned at her through is mask. He wasn't expecting that answer, but, then again, wasn't he? Hadn't he sensed the tension between them? They were fading away. "Oh?"
"Kakashi, do you love me?"
"Of course I do."
"I mean the me sitting right here."
"Whatever do you mean?"
She sighed again. It's always child-like questions with him. "You're in love with me from two years ago."
He chuckled. "No, I'm not. I'm in love with the new you." Was he really though? No, I love it when she's wild, reckless. . .
"It's not working," Reikou stood up and walked to the opposite side of the room, red hair blazing in the light.
"Reikou?"He questioned confusion and hurt in his voice.
"It's just not working. I'm fed up with what our relationship is built on."
"How can you be sick of trust and understanding?"
Reikou laughed. "Ha! You think that's what are relationship is based off of?!"
"Well, yes."
"You really are in love with my old self. You still think of me as that 16-year-old who had little control of her powers and feelings! Why can't you love the new me?" Tears came to her blood red eyes threatening to spill.
Kakashi looked away from her. She was right, just like she was always was. The new Reikou was defiantly more beautiful tan she was two years ago, but they seemed to be two different people now. The old her didn't exists anymore. It was only when the door closed that her realized she just walked out of his life.
Even though she knew the ramen shop was closed at this time, she went there anyways. It was the only place she could think of to comfort her. Pushing back the sings, she sat down on the ground inside, leaning against the wall and the tears finally fell.
Now, by odd coincidence, Naruto just happened to have been training that day and decided to go home before he got soaked to the bone. As he was passing the shop, he heard Reikou's sobs. Being the stupid idiot he was, he mistook them for being a little kid's.
"Hey, shouldn't you be getting home kid?" he asked in annoyance.
Reikou looked up at him, giving him a half-hearted glare.
"Oh, Reikou, it's you," Naruto said softly.
"Yes, it's me you baka!" She snapped.
He looked at her with concern in his eyes. "You okay?"
There was a tense silence between them before Reikou finally found words, "I broke up with Kakashi,"
Naruto sat down beside her putting his arm around her shoulders. Finally feeling some comfort that she hadn't received in a long time, a new wave of tears washed over her as she cried into his chest.
"Shhh. Everything's going to be fine," he whispered.
"No it won't. It's never been okay for me and it never will," she replied in-between sobs.
"It'll be now, though. I'm here."
"So?"
Naruto was slightly hurt by this. Reikou knew he liked her and to say something like that. . .He cupped her face and brought it up to his.
"Narutard, what are you doing?" she sniffled.
"This," he brought her face closer and suddenly. . .
CLIFFHANGER!!! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So, what did you all think? Should I actually right the fanfic? ( " )
