How Rory should have respond to Logan's proposal.
Disclaimer: I own nothing at all.
"Logan I can't." Rory said and ran out the door, leaving the party behind. All she could think while he was proposing was, 'It's not right. It's not him.'
She could not go a day without thinking about him. His writing in her books, his pranks, the way he held her, thought about her, kissed her, even loved her. She could never forget him and she knows that they are meant to be and as soon as she gives Logan the proper break-up she will go to him and stay with him hopefully forever.

Logan talked to Rory right after she left. They were finally done with the partying, drinking, the other girls, and the let down with society status. All of it.
Rory got into her car and drove to Philadelphia. She arrived at around 2 am. She parked the car right outside the bookstore and took out her cell phone. She scrolled to his name. It rang three times until he answered with a very tired voice.
"Yeah?"
"Hey."
"Rory?"
"The one and only."
"Why are you calling at two am?"
"Why do you keep asking questions?"
"Well I would like answers to why I am having this phone conversation."
"Well can you come downstairs so we can change this phone conversation to a face-to-face one?"
"You're here?"
"Yes, now no more questions just let me in. I need to talk to you."
"I'll be right down."
Jess went downstairs and let her in. She explained her mess up. It started on how she said no to him when she should have said yes. She then explained how confused she was about him, she ended up giving Dean something that she really didn't want him to have but wanted to give Jess instead, her virginity. She then explained how her old self slowly disappeared and became this 'soon to be society women'. How instead of listening to herself she was listening to somebody else. Somebody telling her she can't be a journalist. She thought she failed. She gave up the schooling she worked hard for. She spent her days with her grandmother, not her mother, and nights sleeping, partying, and drinking with a cheating Logan. She thanked him again for helping her become herself again.
Jess listened, some he knew about, most he didn't. After she finished he took her in his arms and kissed her. Also, unlike their last kiss they had at the same bookstore many nights ago, she didn't pull away. She was finally back on track and home.
