Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters. This was the partial idea of my friend Gerret-so 'thank you' to him. And now, on with the fluff!

Vash sat in the bare room, staring at the small black cat in front of him. He'd grown to dislike that cat. In fact, he'd grown to hate it. There were times when it took all his self control not to punt it across the room. Whenever that cat was around, it meant trouble and-more often than not-pain.

His eyes moved a couple feet to the left. That kid was strange, he'd shown up a little while ago. Kuwabara was playing with the black cat. Well, playing *for* the cat would be more accurate since the ebil [1] neko wasn't moving.

"Hey, I know! Would you like to play with Eikichi?"

"Nyaoo"

"Hey, Vash. Is that a yes or a no?"

"You know, I've never been able to understand it."

"Nyaoo"

The blonde smiled. "For all we know, it could be insulting us."

The two boys stared as the cat nodded once. "Nyaoo"

"Well, I guess we understood that one," said Kuwabara.

"Hn. It's not very nice, insults don't really surprise me."

"I'll go get Eikichi!" Kuwabara disappeared only to come back a few minutes later carrying a small kitten.

"Nyaoo," Kuroneko-sama inquired.

"Meow?" Eikichi said back.

Kuwabara set the kitten down and came to sit by Vash. "They're cute together!" Vash nodded.

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

"I think they like each other!" Vash smiled.

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

"How can you tell?" Kuwabara asked.

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

"Well, Kuroneko-sama's been around me nearly five whole minutes and nothing bad has happened."

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

Vash suddenly found himself in freefall.

Kuwabara leaned over the hole in the floor. "You al right? Does stuff like this usually happen around Kuroneko?"

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

Kuwabara fell through a second randomly appearing hole to land next to Vash on top of the bar.

"No," Vash sighed, "usually there are a lot more guns involved."

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

Both men turned their heads to the sound of amny guns cocking behind them.

Above, two cats peered down through a rather large hole in the floor.

"Meow?"

"Nyaoo"

Author's Note:: Firstly [1] ebil is a word one of my other friends (Robby) always uses. You use it to describe something that's evil but not really. Second, Yet another of my friends (James) theorized that Eikichi was always asking "Now?" and Kuroneko often replied the same. Hmm...evil conspiring cats...very scary. This fic has no real point, but it was very fun to write! Hope you like-don't flame me too bad ^_^
