Tomorrow
Disclaimer- I don't own KND or the song by Chris Young. I wish I did, though. CURSE YOU MR.W!
Tomorrow I'm gonna leave here
I'm gonna let you go and walk away
Like every day I said I would
And tomorrow, I'm gonna listen
To that voice of reason inside my head
Telling me that we're no good
He looked out of the window. His face was twisted with the pain of the love that he felt for her. 'Tomorrow,' he thought, 'tomorrow, I'm gonna leave her…' he tuned to face the redhead who was crying again… after yet another fight… he should have listened to that little voice inside his head, the one that kept telling him that they were the worst couple in the world.
But tonight I'm gonna give in one last time
Rock you strong in these arms of mine
Forget all the regrets that are bound to follow
We're like fire and gasoline
I'm no good for you
You're no good for me
We only bring each other tears and sorrow
But tonight, I'm gonna love you like there's no tomorrow
"But tonight," he whispered in her ear, easing his arms around her- again- "Tonight, I'm gonna love you like there's no tomorrow."
She stifled a sob against his shoulder. "We can't do anything that we'll regret, Patton." She whispered.
"We always forget that, Fanny, tonight, I'm gonna give in one last time. Just once more, Fanny, then I'm gone." He whispered against her lips, brushing the tears away.
"I don't want you to go." She whimpered.
"Baby, we're like fire and gasoline… we only bring each other to tears. We have to split."
Tomorrow, I'll be stronger
I'm not gonna break down and call you up
When my heart cries out for you
And tomorrow, you won't believe it,
But when I pass your house,
I won't stop no matter how bad I want to.
"Tomorrow," he whispered hoarsely, " I'm not gonna pick up the phone to call you, no matter how muck I feel like I need to,"
"I know." She gasped, the tears still running down her cheeks
"I'm not gonna stop when I pass your house, no matter how bad I need to."
"I know"
Baby when we're good, You know we're great
But there's too much bad for us to think
That there's anything worth trying to save
He watched her sleep, knowing that no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't stay away. No matter how many good times they had together, there were too many bad times that overshadowed them. There was nothing in their relationship worth salvaging
Tomorrow, I'm gonna leave here.
I'm gonna let you go and walk away like every day I said I would
No, he wouldn't. he knew he wouldn't.
(A/N) well, I wanted a depressing one. Hope you like it. R&R
