okay I'v had this typed up for a couple of months, sooooo.. here it is, my 1st Miroku x sango fanfic
and it IS my 1st so dont flame me lolz
oh yeah, I do not own inuyasha, sango, Miroku or any of the characters even though i say that Miroku is mine all the time
on with the story

Sango sat on the hill by the village, looking up at the starry sky.
(this is the hill in Kaede's village where inuyasha always sits.)
Earlier, she had stolen Tetsusaiga in order to have her brother, Kohaku, back from Naraku. But since then, Inuyasha and the others had said they still wanted her in the group, even after she had taken the Tetsusaiga!
Sango leaned her head back against the tree, still staring up at those tiny shining stars.
She thought for a moment, would Miroku be disapointed in her? He may have said that he too, wants her in the group, but maybe.. Maybe she had liked, no, fallen in love with him. So now, if he was disapointed, he would never like her back.
But even so, why would she like such a pervert of a monk? Maybe because he's always there for her. Helping her, caring for her, all of that. But even so, one question bugged her. would he love her back?
Sango felt a tear trickle down her cheek. She sighed heavily and looked for the brightest star, wishing that somehow, Miroku loved her back.
She blinked away the remaining tears, trying to say the words that wouldn't come out...
Sango sniffed. "I- I love you, Miroku." she said, tears welling up in her eyes.

( a couple hours later..)
Miroku woke up, sensing something. He looked around, everyone was asleep but him. Wait.. No Sango?
Sighing, Miroku stood up and headed out the door to look for Sango. The only woman who he truly understood, even though she slapped him alot, was probably still depressed of losing her brother yet again.

Looking ahead, he spotted a tall hill with a tree on it. He guess that Sango would be there.
Taking a deep breathe, Miroku walked up the hill, but stopped when he reached the top and smiled. There, sitting up against the tree and sleeping peacefully, was Sango. In Miroku's opinion, She really did look peacefull, her head slightly tilted to the side, her arms at either side, a small smile tugged at her lips.
Smiling, Miroku walked over, Taking a seat down next to Sango, looking at the beautiful night Sky.

Sango's eyes flickered open, turning her head and gasping, making Miroku look at her and smile. She just crossed her arms, "What are you doing here?" She asked, trying not to look happy to see Miroku.
Miroku set his staff down next to him, then, looking back to Sango. "I was going to ask you the same thing, but I found you sleeping." he said, turning his gaze back to the sky.
Sango smiled. ' he was worried about me! ' She rested her head on Miroku's shoulder, making him look at her. "Im sorry for running off," sango said softly.
Miroku smiled smiled. "Its okay, its not your fault." he replied, resting his head against Sango's and wrapping an arm around her shoulder, both sitting peacefully under the night sky.

( A couple of spies...)
"I told you they like each other!" Kagome whispered to Inuyasha. Apparently, they had been watching the whole time from behind the bushes.
"It was bound to happen, just look at them." Shippo finished. Inuyasha turned his head with a 'Feh!'.
"We should leave them alone for awhile." Kagome said, walking down the hill, followed by Shippo and Inuyasha.
