It all started in early 2011, when a new mysterious virus called the creeping death suddenly struck the city and then spread throughout the world. In little more then two weeks the entire human population was wiped out but strangely it didn't effect us animals, leaving the entire planet to animal kind.
Soon the animals in the zoos ran out of food and moved out in the city, leaving the zoos completely abandoned and empty but some remained in some of them like the central park zoo, it didn't take long till the animals from the zoos and the ones that lived in the streets began to form fractions and began to claim territory which ultimately lead to conflict. The new york streets became brutal war-zones as these fractions fought for territory, the battles getting more brutal and intense.
The smaller fractions were ultimately wiped out or joined the bigger much powerful fractions, these fractions were Skipper's rangers, julien's kingdom, the underworld and finally blowholes empire. I was just a teenage ringtailed cat when i joined skippers rangers and was trained by skipper himself in hand to hand combat and weaponry, the sides of the penguin's flat head were grey with age disprite this he was still in top condition. After months of training with skipper and his squad, i was put into a platoon called unit 12 and Skipper put us on patrol on the border of central park, which is now lemur territory.
As we walked along the border i was thinking about the penguins and such, Skipper never told us how they lost the central park zoo and the park itself but i wouldn't ask him about it, it was prob the penguins first loss ever and i also wondered how it came to be only three of them too. I once asked Skipper about it but he just made a sad, sorrow filled face and said nothing about it so i asked private, he told me that he was killed by blowhole during a massive battle between the rangers and blowholes army, they couldn't even have a burial for him cause he was vaporized.
I was snapped out of my thoughts was a strange flash in the lemurs territory lighted up the now overgrown parkgrounds, it came from the penguins old HQ. We went to investigate but when we got to the old central park zoo, the lemurs were already at the HQ and were armed with machetes and other deadly melee weapons, they were all standing around the fishbowl entrance. After a few minutes we saw a tall figure slowly climb out of the entrance, a tough looking red ruffled lemur kept a blade against the figures back as it climbed out of the entrance. As the figure came more clear, we were all shocked to see that it was Kowalski
This is the first PoM story i did in a while, this story totally takes place in a alternate universe were humanity was wiped out and animals now rule the planet and it take place from the perspective of a new character. Also if you dont get it, the Kowalski the lemurs captured is from the original PoM universe.
PS should i try to add some Koju or any other pairings for fans? If so which ones and ill try my best at it :3
