Prologue:
A seventeen year old Korra was walking around the Air Temple Island with her friends, the new team avatar. They got so
bored that they decided that they needed to go for a walk."So Mako you wanted to tell me something," said vary elated Korra. " Yeah, I
wanted to tell you after Bolin that... That... me and Asami are getting married!" Mako said happily. Korra's whole world came crashing
down at that vary moment. Tears were about to stream down her mocha skin and then... Then she did what she new best, she ran.
Korra went into her room and locked the door and made sure no one would enter. She changed from her normal parka to her
comfortable night clothes. She ran to her bed and grabbed the nearest pillow and sobbed in it. a couple hours later, Korra heard
nocking on her door." Korra sweetie open the door please." Pema said softly. I mutter a no, but then the door opened with Pema
standing there." How did you open the door?" Korra said sniffling. Pema closed the door and walked over to korra, stroking her hair.
" Korra sweetie, Mako told me what happened, it's going to be okay, I promise." Pema said sincerely. All Korra did was nod,
and held up to that promise. " Now come on wash your face, change your close, and come to dinner, your parents have special news for
you!" Pema exclaimed
After Korra took her shower, she came out with her hair in a pony tale and her normal parka. She walked over to her rightful
spot next to her mom and Bolin." Korra it's so good to see you, but we have important things to say, your going back to the
compound."" What!Why!"" Your not safe here anymore." Her mom said happily. Korra couldn't understand why her parents were so
happy that they were forcing her to move back. " No" Korra said closing her eyes and clenching her jaw. " Korra, you don't have any
choice, the White Lotus already demanded it" " Well I don't care about the White Lotus and there so called 'promise' to Aang!" " Korra
you have no choice!" "I don't care! Why do you want me to go back anyway huh mom!" " Because your a pathetic so called Avatar and
no body cares about you!" What had just left Makos mouth was the last straw." You clearly believe it don't you" everybody was still just
glaring eyes staring at her " Well that's what you think so if I am a pathetic avatar I will just end the cycle! I can already feel the spirits
angered at you and the world! So thank you for telling me what you feel now I can leave without any guilt! Your the pathetic one and
the one that makes the worst mistakes. I hate you all!" Korra left the table and walked outside with everyone following her.
Korra nealed against the ground, with the sign of ying and yang engraved on it, and began chanting
" Family abandoned
Friends gone
Evil hearts life has bestowed
Wicked thoughts pass
The avatar has done her job"
And now Korras voice sounded like one thousand people talking at the same time. The air around her started to pick up and the sky
Begins to darkin.
" now the decision has been made
Love is shaded with hate
The bond is broken
The world has spoken "
Korra stands up and opens her eyes to find them glowing, the clouds began to rumblr
" never again shall I see the state
We're everyone is great
Equality is a myth
Never again will it fit
Now the words have seized
The avatar is at peace "
Korra is lifted against the ground.
" the spirits have said for the doom
D
