Just an old, silly Christmas drabble for ya. Silly!

"But I LOVE fruitcake!" Sara's voice was indignant. "So when you say no one likes it you're simply projecting your personal bias onto those around you."

Nick sighed and opened the door to the breakroom, holding it for Sara to go in before entering the room himself. "Okay, then. I stand corrected. Everyone but you hates fruitcake. Satisfied?"

Sara shook her head vigorously. "Again, that assumption is based on your personal tastes."

Suddenly a smug expression settled on Nick's rugged features. "Okay, Sidle, I'll make a bet with you. It's break time. I will ask the next 5 people who pass through that door what they think of it, and if even one person says they like it then you win a crisp new twenty. If not, well, then you owe me twenty. "

Sara leaned forward. "You're on, Stokes."

The words were barely out of her mouth when the breakroom door swung open for Warrick and Catherine.

"Hey guys! Got a question!" He paused a moment. "What do you think of fruitcake?"

Catherine made a face. Warrick grinned. "Makes a good doorstop, but I wouldn't eat it."

Nick got his 100 watt grin. "Thanks, guys." He turned to Sara. "Two out of two - so far so good."

Next through the door were Grissom and Doc Robbins. Sara smiled warmly - Grissom ate bugs, so there was a good chance he'd eat fruitcake. "Hey, Grissom, Doc. You guys like fruitcake?"

Doc Robbins eyed her suspiciously and shook his head "You must be trying to get rid of one. Sorry, Sara, I hate the stuff." Grissom just raised his eyebrows. "I don't think so."

Nick laced his hands behind his head. "One more chance, Sara. One last chance - and I think I have you. Here comes Greg. Hey, Greggo!"

Greg strolled over, his eyes on Sara the entire way. "What's up?"

"You don't like fruitcake, do you?"

"Like fruitcake? No." A maniacal grin spread across his face. " No, I don't like fruitcake - I love it! I buy extra so I can have it up through February. Why do you ask? Do you have one you don't want? I'll take it! Sara, what are you laughing about?"

Nick rolled his eyes and reached into his pocket. "You two are a pair. Go eat some fruitcake together. You know, you are what you eat."
