Brooke watched helplessly as her boyfriend entered the building where people were people were being held gunshot. Where were her best friends?
"Luke don't go don't leave me again I don't want to lose you "the brunette cried.
She ran toward the entrance only to be held back by whitey.
"Davis are you crazy? You could be killed!"
"I don't care the people I LOVE are in there.
She fiercely fought against the firm grip and burst through the school doors. It felt like a horror movie brought to life. The last time she had seen Peyton was at the door of the library she took off her shoes and started running toward the library.
"If I tell you I love you will you hold it against me, cause I have lost a lot of blood."
Then I watched as my best friend leaned forward and kissed my boyfriend. He didn't resist the kiss or even mutter it was wrong instead he kissed her a way he had never kissed Brooke-with passion that made you think she was perfect and the world was ending. Brooke pushed the book she was peeking at them through to make sure her eyes weren't deceiving her. Lucas's eyes suddenly caught hers. He abruptly finished the kiss.
"Brooke this isn't what it looks like"
"Oh, then tell me what the HELL it looks like"
"It was…It was."Lucas stuttered.
"I thought so, even if all 3 of us make it out alive I never want to see you again" Brooke said with such loathing, Lucas had never thought was possible, as she walked out.
"NO BROOKE THERES A KILLER ON THE LOOSE!"
"I m going to Haley and Nate "
Lucas looked back and forth between Brooke and Peyton and thought Peyton was hurt Brooke wasn't.
Brooke noticed what Lucas was doing and saw the resolution in his eyes as he looked to Peyton.
"I thought so you always choose her" Brooke muttered under her breath.
Brooke ran down the hall and came to a sudden halt, and stood behind a corner.
"Danny this isn't right don't do this" a familiar voice said.
Brooke peeked around the corner and saw Keith being held gunshot, Brooke gasped when she saw it was Dan.
"We can't have viewers now, can we?" Dan said. Before Brooke she could think, before a blink of the eye, Brooke lurched herself in front of Keith.
-Keith-
The bullet went straight through Brooke's heart.
-Brooke-
"Why did you do that "Keith asked"
"You're like the dad I never had"
"Ok I promise I will get you out stay awake"
-Lucas-
I walked toward Keith and saw him lean over a body.
"Who is that "I asked my voice shaking with fear.
-Brooke-
"It's so dark"
Brooke felt a searing hot pain flow throughout her body.
"Keith I don't think I'm going to make it tell –tell"
-Lucas-
I heard Brooke say she doesn't think she will make it.
"Its brooke", Keith replied to my question that had hung into the air.
I watched as Brooke's eyelids slowly fluttered shut.
"What I wanted was for you to fight for me"
"How was I suppose to know that"
"You just are"
