Let Me Be...
Thank you Lord, for the sun in the sky,that guides my steps by day.
Thank you Lord, for sending your only
begotten son, to take my sins away.
Thank you Lord, for choosing me,
for I am just a humble girl.
What have I to offer you,
that you could not create yourself?
Lord, unto you I offer up praise.
For it is you alone who has been with me
every single night and day.
You are my Shield, and my Keeper.
Who am I but just a simple girl,
my heart full of joy
As I write these words unto you, My King.
Let me serve you forever, as your praises I sing.
Let me be a humble and simple servant.
Let me tell the world of the mighty things
that You have done.
And let them see the person Your Holy
Spirit has helped me to become.
I do not ask for riches, Father.
Only for your grace and love.
Let me forever be a servant
to my King in Heaven above.
