What can I say? Just a drabble. Hr/R though I hope that's sort of obvious. Enjoy!
When he finally works up the nerve to tell her he thinks she's beautiful, she tells him not to be ridiculous.
He sits, gaping at her, stunned, as she frowns at him and waves his words aside without pause, when he is giving her the world. His world. She only shakes her head, her forehead creased with lines of disapproval as she buries her nose back into her book. Her hair falls, flyaway and wild into her eyes, and she brushes it back with an impatient hand, muttering "Nonsense" under her breath and staring determinedly at the page before her.
But her cheeks are very faintly red.
And he thinks that's beautiful, too.
Feedback would be so greatly appreciated, I can't even explain. Concrit and anything else is more than welcome. But regardless of whether you review or not, Thanks for Reading!
