A/N: This is short, one shot. Something I wrote a long time ago and just
found on my computer. It's cute. Please Review.
She watched him closely, suddenly afraid to admit her feelings for him. Why? She asked herself. Because she loved him and she was shy about it. They always used to be strange around each other; unafraid of what the other thought and knowing that no matter what they would still be friends. But now she was so on edge around him, wanting to know what he was thinking and not wanting him to disapprove of her. She tended to be clumsier around him; running into things and people; knocking over things and people.
He was cleaning the table next to hers, unaware that she was staring at him. He felt her eyes on him so he turned to look. She was watching him and she suddenly blushed. He smiled his roguish smile at her. In response she smiled back coyly and his smile widened into a grin.
If only she knew how much he loved her. She was so beautiful and funny and honest. You could usually trust her with anything as long as she knew it was important to you. She seemed more reserved around him now; after he had asked her to a movie. But he could understand. He was surprised he wasn't the same way around her. He guessed that it was probably because he usually kept his feelings well hidden.
He turned and went back to his work. She continued to watch him and he knew she was. So he made a game out of it. He twirled around and she jumped, not expecting this. She looked down shyly. He returned to his work and she looked at him again. He twirled again and she looked down. What the...? She wondered. She looked up to see him working again. He twirled and she looked down again. Oh, I get it! She looked up and he twirled. They continued this game until finally she stood up and said,
"I should go home. This was fun though. I'll see you tomorrow." She leaned over to pick up her purse then paused. He was standing next to her. She straightened and looked at him. He pulled her slowly into his arms and kissed her. "Well, that was fun too..."
He let her go and she turned and went to the door.
He called out, "Bye."
She turned around and smiled at him.
"Bye," she said softly and left.
