Sebastian Smythe trudged through the hallway at 2 am in the morning as his beautiful baby girl sobbed into her blanket. Alyssa's mom Santana as away in court in New York and fro the first time Sebastian and Alyssa were left alone in the apartment. It would've went fine if mother nature hadn't decided to throw in a rain storm into the mix.
Sebastian walked into the light pink walls as Alyssa was curled up in the corner of her bed tucked into one of the large teddy bears. "Hey Aly!" Sebastian cooed as he picked up his pride and Joy. "What's up Hunny?" "Can't sleep Daddy!" Sebastian gave her a quick squeeze. "Do you want to sleep with me tonight? I'm lonely anyway without Mommy!"
The duo walked into Sebastian and Santana's room and lay down in the double bed. "Daddy i still can't sleep and i've tried counting baa baas* and everything!" she sighed in frustration. "Do you want me to sing to you?" A blast of lightning struck. "Yes" she yelped. Sebastian tucked her into the blanket, put his arm around her and started to sing.

Sebastian could feel Alyssa breathing on his chest. So he continued.

Sebastian himself was just nodding off when he heard the soft female vocals finish the song.

Santana walked into her room to hear Sebastian singing the song that he had sung to her so many times before, when Quinn was in hospital, when Brittany hated her when she was waiting for her acceptance letter from NYU, And when she was pregnant on Alyssa.
She bent down and kissed his head as he couldn't move because of the sleeping 3 year old on his chest. Murmurs of I Love You were heard before the snores of a happy family!
