A/N: This chapter is a sort of precursor to the rest of the story. It doesn't particularly contribute to any other chapters, but it's just useful ;)
A few notes before we begin!:
1. Renesmee doesn't exist. At all. My OC is Jacob's imprintee.
2. Bella is out of the picture. I may include her, but Jacob doesn't love her.
3. This story has no real plot. Or real problem. Or real end. It just goes on until I decide to end it :D
.
She was so average.
Her family was the 'American dream': a dad, a mom, an older brother, and a dog. They all ate dinner together every night, and holidays were heartily celebrated with the extended family. Her house even had a white picket fence.
.
She was so different.
Everything about her was different from everything about him. He had jet black hair; hers was pale blond. He was tan; she was pale. He had brown eyes; she had green. He dressed down; she dressed up. He was loud; she was quiet.
.
She was so impressive.
Without trying, she was a straight-A student. Captain of the soccer team. Lead singer in the chorus. Consecutive winner of beauty pageants. Head journalist in the newspaper. A volunteer at the animal shelter. Favorite nanny at the daycare center.
.
She was so unpredictable.
He'd discovered that she yelled at the television when her favorite sports teams were playing. She would stay up until the early hours of the morning and play video games. She had no opposition to playing pranks on people. She was prone to spur-of-the-moment decisions, and she followed said decisions through, whether they were dangerous or not. She skipped school. She snuck out of her house. Danced provocatively. Ate without abandon. Occasionally broke minor laws.
.
She was so his.
He'd imprinted on her, but he had a feeling that even if he hadn't, he would have fallen for her. She was the center of his world, and he couldn't have chosen a better core than her. They melded into each other's lives perfectly…
Most of the time.
