"Harry Potter is dead. Join me or face your fate", Voldemort bellowed as his army of death eaters all laughed behind him, cackling and making fun of the few that were alive fighting against them. Ginny cried out in agony, her best friend, her boyfriend was dead, a hurricane of emotions came swarming in like wasps eating at her from the inside, she attempted to run up to him, to hold him, to be with him, but her father held her back, he knew, as did she, that it was far too dangerous to go, she would be killed if she did. Then, unexpectedly Neville limped forward, clutching the sorting hat tightly.

"People die every day. Friends, family. Yeah, we lost Harry tonight. But he's still with us, in here. So's Fred, and Remus, Tonks... all of them. They didn't die in vain. But you will, 'cause you're wrong! Harry's heart did beat for us, for all of us! It's not over!", he shouted, pulling out the sword of Godric Gryffindor, and getting into a fighting position.

The Battle raged on, it's up to the remaining survivors to end Voldemort once and for all.

Voldemort hissed in Parseltongue something Ginny couldn't make out but Nagini obviously understood as she slithered away into the crowd of deatheaters, "Neville! We need to kill that bloody snake!" Ron shouted to him whilst duelling a deatheater, Hermione cast multiple healing spells on all of Dumbledore's Army, fixing their wounds and protecting them, then she ran over to help fight off the Deatheaters.

They took most of Voldemort's army of deatheaters off, one by one, with the professors casting more powerful healing and of course offensive spells they had an advantage. Ginny was inside the school when she saw her mother fighting Bellatrix Lestrange, and she rushed over to her side, Bella saw this as a weakness of Molly and struck her but Ginny was fast enough to block the spell but was clearly taken aback by it. Molly's face fumed bright red with rage, she struck Bella harder and harder to her breaking point, before striking her one last time, finishing her off whilst shouting, "not my daughter, you bitch!".

Neville had followed the snake all the way to the inside of the castle, it had taken him all around the castle grounds, it was just about the kill Hermione and Ron when he pulled out the sword once more and sliced its head off clean, it's body still moving as he did so.

Molly had stripped away Voldemort's last lieutenant, Neville had stripped away Voldemort's last line of protection, his rage boundless, but his curses can't hold. There was only one thing left to do; kill Voldemort himself. Into the mist steps Ginny, the first Weasley daughter in over a century, the seventh child of a seventh child, the one person alive who knows the mind of Voldemort more than anyone. Protected by her lost loves sacrifice, fueled with burning rage, she takes the stage. Voldemort laughs at the sight of her but upon realising all of his allies are dead, his Horcruxes gone, he began to look fearful. "My name is Ginny Weasley, you killed a lot of people I loved. Prepare to die", she smirked as she got into a fighting stance, and simultaneously they both shouted "Avada Kadavra!", knowing that it would be one of their last words. The light struck the dark and the dark struck the light, being overpowered and losing power, Ginny gave one more powerful blow, the bang this emitted could be heard from a country away, it was like a cannon had just erupted between them. With that, he hit the floor, and at long last, Ginny Weasley has her triumph over Tom Riddle. The remaining survivors cheered and lifted Ginny up and carried her around singing before they remembered all they had lost and all those who were dead.

*Present Date*

It has been a year since the victory of Hogwarts, the victory of the light, and Ginny could not wait to go back to school. It took a year to rebuild the ruins it was but tomorrow the train will depart and the students will go back to school. They have merged some of the years so that nobody will be repeating them but it will still be same old Hogwarts. Ginny has been staying with Hermione in her apartment that was gifted to Hermione from the Hogwarts for helping protect it, Ginny also got rewards such as a subscription to the newest and greatest broom every year, many job opportunities, lots and lots of gold, among many others. She and Hermione have been preparing for this day for months! They were especially excited when they were told there's going to be an end of year ball to celebrate the graduating students.

"Ginny, Post is here!" Hermione called out from the living room, she laughed when she heard Ginny race down the stairs and almost trip and break her neck on the way down. Ginny gave the bird some food and took the letters from it. There were three letters, one to her and one to Hermione, the last letter was addressed to both of them. The two that were to each of them were letters from the Weasley family, reminding them both that school would begin tomorrow and that they sent two just in case one got lost along the way. The one addressed to both of them was from Headmistress McGonagall and it contained: a new map of Hogwarts, an emergency list of everything they need in case they lost their own copies, a sincere letter wishing them well and a sentence on a blank piece of parchment attached to the scroll.

"As you know, there will be new dorms this year with two per room, please write the name of the person who you wish to share a dorm with, it can be someone of another house; just not another gender, we will not have any canoodling whilst others are studying or sleeping"

Hermione and Ginny giggled as they read the request, "well it won't be a problem considering I'm Lesbian Merlin", the redhead laughed as she scribbled down Hermione's name before Hermione wrote down Ginny's. The rest of the day they spent packing, laughing and having fun until night came and they made some popcorn and got into their pyjamas before putting on a movie.

They sat closely on the couch with mountains of pillows and blankets surrounding them in a nice cozy meadow. Ginny glanced at Hermione and bit her lip, 'she's so beautiful' she thought to herself before quickly bringing her attention towards the t.v so Hermione wouldn't notice. The movie just flicked to a steamy sex scene between the two main female characters, Hermione watched Ginny as she watched intently as the two characters moaned and touched one another. Hermione shifted in her seat nervously. This repeated between them once more before Ginny called it a night and went to bed. She did not, however, end up sleeping a wink that night, she had far too much to think about. For starters, she'd be going back to Hogwarts the very next day but also on a much larger scale, she might just so happen to have fallen for Hermione
