Chapter 1
Mandy walks into the Main office of her new school. * Man, this is confusing* She finds a nice lady working in the office and asks
"Can you help me??"
"Of course young lady what is it you need?"
"Um..maybe a school map?? Just kidding. But can you tell me where my locker is?"
"Of course. What's the number? "
"Um.. Number 7295."
"Oh yes of course. You go down this hall right here and turn left. Just look at the numbers, you should be able to find it."
"Thank you ma'am."
As Mandy walks down the hall she looks at the lockers & the People. *Oh my gosh. These people look rich. I won't fit in.*
Finding her locker she walks to it & tries to unlock it. *stupid locker. Open. Just open.*
"Need help?" says a voice behind her. Startled she turns & sees a friendly looking girl.
"um.. Sure. Can you get the locker opened?"
"Probably not. but I'll try. What's the combo?"
"Um..18-32-7"
The locker opens on the first try and Mandy feels stupid. "Oh gosh.. Thanks!! Um.. I'm Mandy. I'm new here."
"Nice to meet you Mandy. I'm Lizzie. So. who's your Home room teacher?"
"Um. Mr. James. Room 804. Do you know where it is?"
"Hey, that's my Homeroom teacher. I'll show you there."
As Mandy and Lizzie walk to class Lizzie explains who would be nice and rude to her. Lizzie point out Kate & her crew, and some of the upper classmen she should try to avoid. Then Point's out Larry, and his Dungeons & Dragons group.
"Try to be nice but not to nice don't wanna be though a geek now do you?"
"Oh no... Of course not."
As they walk Gordo and Miranda join them.
"Gordo, Randa. this is Mandy. She's new.
"Nice to meet you" Gordo Says while walking backwards with his hand extended'
Kinda shocked yet flattered Mandy shakes his hand & says "Nice to meet you Gordo."
Hey!... Nice to meet you. I'm Miranda. you can call me Randa.
"Thanks & nice to meet you too Randa!"
All four of them walk into class and sit together in the last two rows. Mandy in front of Gordo and Lizzie in front of Randa.
Lizzie comment"Nice Outfit Mandy. Oh yeah we usually just talk in here so don't be shy. Were all friends here."
"Friends? You mean I'm already a friend?"
The others say at the same time "Yeah."
Lizzie says "It doesn't take long to be our friends. Just hang with us."
"O.K. I will. Thanks." Mandy says over happily.
*Man, this is gonna be better than I thought.*
"So, Mandy where did you move from??" Lizzie asks
"Kansas, my parent thought it would be friendlier out here" *Boy, were they right*
"That's cool. What's your next class??"
"P.E. My least favorite class"
Are you serious? That's mine & Randa's next class. Boy you got a lucky schedule"
"Yeah...I guess I do" *I wish I was always this lucky* *all the people here a so nice.. Especially Gordo.*
