Summary - When Izuku was four he developed a teleportation quirk which allowed him to teleport himself to anywhere that has his mark. together with One For All he will become the Hero that he needs to be.(Flying Thunder God Izuku)
Chapter one - The Thunder Gods Beginning
Izuku Midoriya and his mother, Inko Midoriya, were in the doctors office waiting for the doctor to come back with the results on whether Izuku will develop a quirk or not. Looking at her son Inko could only hope that he develops a quirk, she knew what others thought of quirkless people and she didn't want that for her son her innocent, naïve and hero obsessed little boy.
"Mom" came the voice of her son, knocking her out of her thoughts. looking at her son she saw a look of fear on her face which worried her
"Izuku, honey, what's wrong?"
"Would you still love me even if I don't have a quirk?" he asked in a subdued voice
Inko was horrified about what her beloved son had just said. who on earth had gave him the idea that she wouldn't love her own son just because he was quirkless. she knew it wasn't his father he himself had a quirkless sister and he was overprotective of her until she died in a villain attack two years before Izuku was born. then she had a thought, if she didn't say anything and his father wouldn't, then it must of been someone at the school but who
"Izuku, have any of the teachers or student been bullying you for not developing a quirk yet?"
Izuku was in a bind. if he told her the truth then a lot of people will get in trouble especially Kacchan, who will be a great hero in the future, but if he does lie then someone could get hurt in the future from the bullying and he would upset his loving mother by lying. deciding to do what is right he told her the truth
"everyone in school is doing it and the teachers allow it because they are hoping to be in the good books of future hero's."
"What about Katsuki?" she said but thought "I swear if he has been bullying my son he will be getting his due punishment soon"
"He allows it saying that I should just disappear" he whispered in sadness
Before either of them could say anything else the doctor walked in with the results
"Well I have good news" he said before catching the atmosphere "What's wrong?"
Inko looked at the doctor and realized that he would be the best person to help her for what needed to be done
"I just found out that his school has aloud him to be bullied to the extent that he thinks that I wouldn't love him if he didn't have a quirk"
At hearing this The doctor was furious. didn't these people realize that if someone hasn't got a good mental health there quirk could go out of control and hurt people around them. thinking quickly he said
"if you want i can give you the number to a free lawyer who only asks for 5% of any profit you make from lawsuits against someone and she is quirkless so she would probably kill me if I let this case get away from her." he said before mumbling the last part but Inko still heard it
"How good is she?" she asked not wanting just some cheap lawyer who has no proper experience
"She has been a lawyer for three years, done three hundred cases and won two hundred and ninety of them."
"That is a good amount of victories for a lawyer who has only been fully qualified for three years" Inko thought
"Can I have the number please?"
after getting the number she turned back to the doctor and asked
"By the way what was the good news you had?"
"Oh I forgot about that" picking up the file that he was carrying when he cam through the door he opened it and said "The good news was that Izuku is not quirkless"
"Oh Thank god" she exclaimed while putting her hand to her chest
Izuku was happy as well but was wondering something
"If I have a quirk then why hasn't it manifested yet" he asked the doctor
"It has you just haven't activated it." seeing both the Midoriya's confusion he explained "Izuku has a teleportation quirk of some kind and those have one rule that stays the same between them and that is the user needs to have a marker in the location they want to teleport to"
"But that sounds like there is only one type of teleportation quirk" she stated in disbelief
"Not true. you see there are a lot of ways that a marker might need to used, some might need to be looking at something to set and use marker, some might need to be in a certain distance of a marker and so on."
"So how do I activate it?" Izuku asked, excited to finally use his quirk
"Just will for the mark to appear on your right hand and then I can use my quirk to see what kind it is" the doctor explained with a small smile
After hearing this Izuku looked at his right hand and started to will for his mark to appear. slowly but surely a black mark appeared on his hand and when it was finished the mark was shown to be a circle with a lightning bolt going through the middle with the kanji for time and space on either side of it.
"Ok Izuku just stay still and let me see what it is" the doctor said before activating his quirk
Quirk - Analyser
Explanation - the user can see the name, explanation and downside of someone's quirk by staring at them
Downside - if the user sees more than one quirk at a time they will receive a migraine that gets worse with the number of quirks
Looking at Izuku the doctor began to explain what he saw in a monotone voice
Quirk - Flying Thunder God
Explanation - the user can teleport to anything that has their marker on. the user does not need to be seeing the marker to use it and the user can teleport other people and things to a marker.
Downside - if the user uses this quirk more than ten times without a ten second pause then they will develop tunnel vision for thirty seconds after they last use this quirk
when the doctor was finished with the explanation he said
"if i was you i would find a place that sells senbon in the bulk so that he can use the quirk properly without hurting someone accidently"
with that the meeting was over and the Midoriya's where on the way home. when they got home Izuku went to his room to look at some videos of recent hero recues and Inko got onto the phone and phoned her friend of ten years, Mitsuki Bakugo.
{Ring-Ring-Ring} went the phone for a minute before someone answered {Hello Mitsuki speaking}
"Mitsuki it's me Inko"
{Inko why are you calling me at nine pm when you could just speak to me when we meet up at the school tomorrow?.}
Inko really wasn't looking forward to telling her friend what she found out
"Mitsuki, I wont be at the school tomorrow"
{Huh why? did something happen to Izuku?. To you?. just tell me and I will destroy the fucker!.}
"Mitsuki calm down and sit on a chair" she commanded "Now here is what happened..."
And so she told her friend about the conversation with Izuku and the doctors analysis
".. and when I got in I decided to phone you to get your opinion on what to do" she finished
the phone was silent for a while not that Inko could blame her. she had just been told that her surrogate nephew was being bullied by a whole school just because he hadn't manifested a quirk that could manifest anytime between four and seven. worst of all though she finds that her son was part of the bullying, the same son who lies to face whenever she asks what he did that day with Izuku.
{Inko} Mitsuki finally said {tomorrow, after I take Katsuki to school, I am coming over to help you start the law suit against the school and after I hang up you will contact the lawyer.}
"But Katsuki could.." she was interrupted
{I don't care what happens to him. he made his bed he can sleep on it} she snarled {he has blatantly lied to me for months saying that Izuku was okay at school and what's worse is that he was in on the bullying against him, the boy who was raised next to him from birth, just because he hadn't manifested his quirk. trust me he won't get away with it if I have a say in it.}
"Thank you Mitsuki" Inko said with tears in her eyes
{No Problem} there was a beeping in the background {I have to go my foods getting cold bye}
"Bye" the phone went silent.
after five minutes of calming down from the phone call Inko took the card, that she got from the doctor, out of her bag and dialled the number
"Hello My name is Inko Midoriya and I would like to hire you."
Ten Years Later
its been ten years since that day and things for the Midoriya family have improved greatly.
the lawsuit against the school had went through with a huge win for the family largely due to the combined efforts of the lawyer and Mitsuki. the lawyer turned out to be a old friend of Mitsuki's from her time as a defence attorney so when she heard about her helping Inko she was immediately on board and even offered to wave the fee saying that working with her old friend was enough. when they went to court they worked so well together that the government started to crack down on bullying the quirkless, fearful that the women would go against them next. in the end they came out of it with a total amount of 50 million with five million being split between Mitsuki and The lawyer. Not that they knew that.
Izuku, meanwhile, has progressed to astounding levels. after that day he studied like there was no tomorrow impressing his online teachers and his mother. by the end of the last school year the teachers told Inko, through email, that Izuku achieved straight A's through the whole year. when it came to his quirk Izuku discovered four things that would make him being a hero more acheiveable.
the first thing he learned was that he could counteract the tunnelvision of his quirk if he closed his eyes and used his other senses. to help improve this Izuku asked Inko to sign him up for 'Quirk Blind Classes', which help people with quirks that make the user blind for any amount of time, enhance and use there other senses.
The second thing that Izuku learned was that he could use the Flying Thunder God Seal to teleport away anything that comes into contact with it. the subject of the ability is then directed to another location marked with the seal.
the third thing that he learned happened when Izuku turned ten and Inko brought him some top of the line senbon which he could use as weapons and something to put his seal on. it was later discovered that thanks to the quirk blind classes Izuku could throw the senbon with his eyes closed and still hit his target.
The final thing that Izuku learned was that if someone else had his seal on them then he could swap the person with one of his other seals. this also works when he put a seal on his mother and himself then swap places with her.
right now Izuku was walking towards the shops to pick up some milk for his mom
"just ten months til the entrance exam" he thought "I'm really glad that i can bring my senbon with me"
As Izuku was walking through a underpass he heard a sound coming from the sewer so he got out five of his senbon and got ready for anything.
five seconds after he got out his senbon the sewage lid burst open letting out a huge amount of slime which began to reshape itself revealing it to be a man using his quirk
"A medium sized suit. you will have to do or now" the slime-man said before lunging towards Izuku.
before the slime-man could get to him Izuku threw one of his senbon behind the man and teleported to it before it could hit the floor
"What the.." the man sputtered before turning around "How did you do that?!"
"That is my secret" Izuku said while twirling the senbon that he had catched when he teleported
"Grrrr" growled the villain before again lunging at Izuku but before Izuku could do anything a loud shout was heard
"Texas Smash"
when the shouted happened a huge amount of wind hit the villain blowing him apart resulting in the slime covering Izuku and the floor.
when Izuku turned to see who did that attack he came face to face with a very familiar hero
"All Might!" he shouted
"Yes it is I All Might" the hero shouted "Are you alright young man"
"Yeah I'm fine" Izuku said before noticing he was covered in slime "Urg"
he began to wipe of the slime until there was nothing left during this time he didn't realize that all might had left already so when he turned around he found to his surprise that the hero had disappeared
"oh shoot" Izuku whined "I wanted to ask for his autograph"
Izuku left the underpass and continued onto the store
Twenty Minutes Later
Leaving the store Izuku made his way home hoping that he would be back on time to finish the homework he had from his online teachers.
As Izuku was walking past some buildings he heard huge explosions from the next block. allowing curiosity take over he headed in that direction and came upon a horrible sight.
The buildings in the area were destroyed, the people were gathered in a single area with Kamui Woods, a hero, guarding them and in front of everything was the Slime villain from area with a very familiar person in the body
Katsuki Bakugo, the last time Izuku saw him was ten years ago when he was being dragged home by his mother from the school. from what Izuku had heard from his Aunt Mitsuki Katsuki had been transferred to a special school that helps people with volatile tempers to incorporate into society but Katsuki was deemed one of the very few special cases where there was no helping him control his temper. It was only by luck that he wants to become a hero and not a villain.
"We have to wait for someone with a better quirk" one of the hero's, Mt lady he believed, say
Izuku Looked at the hero in anger. 'A better quirk'. He could think of a few different ways for the hero's to save Katsuki but no they need better quirks
Izuku looked towards Katsuki and could see the fear in his eyes.
"Even if he was a lousy person he doesn't deserve this" Izuku thought before making a decision
Izuku walked to the front of the crowd and took out two senbon. he dropped one senbon near one of them in front of him while throwing the other senbon at the villain. when the senbon was ten feet away from the villain he teleported to it, grabbed it and ran towards the villain. when Izuku got near the villain he took the senbon and threw it at the villains eyes and hitting the.
"AAARRGGG" the villain wailed in pain while Izuku plunged his hands in to slime and tried grabbing Katsuki
"Bakugo grab my hand" Izuku shouted towards his ex-friend
Katsuki looked at Izuku and grabbed his hand. when Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand Izuku placed a seal on the hand and switched Katsuki with the senbon that was near the crowd. when Katsuki was teleported Izuku used the seal that was still on Katsuki to teleport to the blond.
"You ok" he asked the blond
Katsuki Bakugo was in two minds. On one hand he was thankful that someone saved him but on the other hand it was the useless bastard that got him in trouble and sent to the useless school where they tried to control him. in the end he went with the natural reaction
"Why the fuck did you do that!." The Blond shouted "I didn't need saving by you. I could have got away on my own Bastard!."
"Well Sorry!" Izuku shouted sarcastically "I just saw your eyes and went on my instincts to save you!"
What no one knew was that in the crowd was a thin blond haired man called Toshinori Yagi Aka All Might and he had just saw and heard everything
"He followed his instincts. He ran and saved the boy, who he obviously hates by the way they are shouting at each over. Could it be, Have I found my successor" All Might thought Before there was a loud shout of anger
"AARRRRGGGG You again!" The villain shouted when he saw Izuku "When I get my hands on you I'm going to destroy you!"
The villain charged towards Izuku who took out another senbon and gave it to Kamui woods who, to Izuku's knowledge, had the best throwing arm of all the nearby hero's
"Quickly throw that as high as you can" He said to the hero
Trusting the kid the hero whacked the senbon 500 metres in the air with a wooden bat that he grew from his hand. when the senbon was over the villain Izuku swapped the villain with the senbon allowing the villain to drop from the air and splatter across the floor unconscious.
There was a huge silence in the area before everyone began to clap and cheer for Izuku
"Did you see that"
"He would be a great hero with that quirk"
"Teleportation quirks are rare"
What no one knew was that The Symbol Of Peace was in the crowd and when he heard the praise being directed towards the boy he felt like his quirk pulse in joy as if it has found its new home
"That settles it" All Might thought when he felt his quirks joy "This boy is my successor"
And the next symbol of peace has been chosen. lets see what the teleporting boy will do next chapter
