Summary: Reiji's insults upsets Yui.

"You, wash the dishes correctly. There still dirty." Reiji waved a dish in front of him as if proving his point. He then, placed the slightly dirty dish into the sink. He pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "Seriously, your are useless, nothing but mere food."

The only thing Yui could do was stand there; taking in all the insults Reiji was throwing at her. With her head faced down, looking down at the kitchen floor, she did her best to keep the already formed tears from falling. With each insults thrown at her, her heart ached in pain.

"Re wash all the dishes." Those were his last words as he disappeared in thin air.

Reiji was definitely, cold hearted. He could keep it up for the whole day in fact. Insulting Yui was a daily routine for him, insulting her on her manner, her appearance, her personality, every single thing about her. For Yui there was two words to describe his insults. Cold and painful, however Reiji never intended to purposely hurt her with the insults he would throw at her. He never apologizes for insulting her, but he never intended to hurt her with his words at all. He would never tell her or her brothers at all. The fact that he went soft on her. That he enjoyed her company everyday. That he considered her as a friend instead of mere food.

Her positive attitude was what intrigued Reiji. Being in a house full of vampires, he was sure Yui wouldn't last long and shit herself on the first day. However, she didn't shit herself. She viewed the positive sides of things. One. She would have company, even if they were a bunch of vampires. Two. She wouldn't be alone. Three. Maybe they could become friends. Even though Reiji had insulted and harmed her over and over she still remained positive, only thinking of positive things.

She turned to the sink that was piled with dirty dishes, or so Reiji says. Re washing the dishes, her mind wandered off. I'm food. I'm useless. I'm an idiot. I'm nothing but mere food to him. At this thought, Yui dropped a plate. The plate shattered into pieces, letting some broken pieces cut on her hands. "That's right...I'm food…," she muttered, as drops of tears escaped from her eyes. "Eh...why am I crying..." The tears that she had kept so desperately from falling, just kept dripping like a leak. She slapped her cheeks with her hands, small amounts of blood smearing her cheeks. "I...don't want to cry….I won't." She was about to slap herself again however, gloved hands stopped her from doing so. Restraining her in place.

"Reiji-san.."

"Are really crying?"

"O-o-f course not!" Yui denied, breaking from from his grips. Before she got a chance to recover herself, Reiji wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her tighter, soothing her by brushing her hair with a gloved hand. "Reji-san...why are you hugging me?" Yui was surprised. Why exactly would he hug her?

"Shut up, and let me apologize." If possible, Reiji hugged her tighter. "I'm really sorry."

"Thank you, for apologizing...really thank you." Just hearing the apology coming from him, made her completely overjoyed.

"Weirdo..." Reiji smiled, hugging her more tightly.

"Reji-san, you're squishing me a bit."
