"It's cold, nya." Eiji shivered. He was holding a cup of hot chocolate in his hands. A blue blanket was wrapped around his shoulders. I simply smiled, still gazing outside at the blankets of snow that covered the ground.
"You shouldn't complain, Eiji." I chided softly. "I thought you wanted it to snow."
"Yeah, but that was before I knew it would be this cold!" He protested indignantly. I merely chuckled.
I turned away from the frosted window and walked to my bed. He shifted towards the wall as I lay down and took another blanket to cover me. Eiji looked surprised.
"Nya, what are you doing Fuji?"
"I'm going back to sleep. We don't have school, you know." I twisted my body to face his. He still looked cold; his hot chocolate had cooled long before. I gently took the cup from him and placed it on my dresser.
"Fuji?" His eyes were wide, bright from the cold.
I didn't reply, I only lifted up my blanket-covered hands and tugged his body towards mine. He gave a gasp of surprise.
"What are you—?"
"Shhh…" I crooned softly. "It's cold and I'm sleepy. Just go to sleep."
I felt a nod and smiled.
