Quinn leant down under her bed and felt around for her suitcase, feeling the harsh canvas material against her hand. She pulled it out and unzipped it, placing it ontop of her pale blue quilt laying on her bed. She sighed and smiled, looking at the Yale entry form pinned up on her pin board and began folding endless sun dresses and cardigans and placing them into the white suitcase on her bed. Just then, the door knocked and she heard her mother's voice.
"Quinny, do you want any help packing?"
"Okay, mom, sure. If you don't mind!" Quinn replied, putting some of her wash stuff in a zip up bag.
"Are you taking these?" her mom said, gesturing to a pair of ankle boots.
"Yeah, I guess so," she said, putting them in the case. She picked up a framed photo on her dressing table; it was the last photo of the New Directions all together. She saw each smiling face and she smiled, a tear dripping onto the photo. Quinn's mom put an arm round her daughter's shoulder.
"Quinn, you are such an amazing daughter. I'm so proud of you, you know that, right?"
Quinn smiled and wiped the tears away, "Thanks, mom. Anyway, shall we get back to packing? My plane leaves tomorrow at 10,"
At that moment, the doorbell rang downstairs.
"I'll get it," said Quinn.
She walked down the stairs, hearing the rain outside. She looked through the peephole and saw Puck standing in the rain.
She opened the door, "Noah what are you doing here? It's late! Come in, quick, you're soaking!" she gestured he came inside, but he shook his head.
"Can you come out?"
Quinn laughed and raised an eyebrow, "Puck... it's raining?"
Puck grabbed her and pulled her outside, causing the blonde to squeal, "Puck! Puck! Stop! Mom, I'm just going out a sec!" she called, shutting the door as Puck pushed her down on to the grass outside her house and fell next to her.
The pair lay staring into eachother's eyes in the dark, the streetlights making their eyes shine. Puck reached out a hand and pushed Quinn's hair out of her face. Quinn lent forward slowly, her mouth meeting Puck's. The kiss was short and sweet and reminded Quinn of old times. Puck lent in for another kiss, this time a longer, more romantic one.
"When do you leave for Yale?" he asked.
"Tomorrow,"
"What time?"
"10. How come?" she asked, smiling at him.
"Just wondering. Are you excited?"
"Um yeah I guess. Have you got anything planned yet, now that graduation's over and stuff?" she asked.
"Um, not really, no. Just gonna kind of stay here, do some more pool cleaning, you know,"
Quinn smiled pityingly at Puck and then kissed him and sat up, "I'm sure, someday, you'll get an amazing job, or your own pool cleaning company or something, and you'll meet someone special, and you'll live happily. But until then, just enjoy yourself. I wont ever forget you, Noah Puckerman," she got up and the rain poured down her face.
Puck stood up and sighed, then laughed, "Yeah, I doubt that. But thanks, Quinn. I wont forget you, either," he said and he wrapped his arms around Quinn as they kissed in the pouring rain.
Quinn's mother opened the front door and saw her daughter standing in the garden with Puck and for a moment, was going to shout, but then stopped for a moment and smiled, "Quinny, I've finished packing your stuff! Don't stay out too long, you'll catch your death!"
Quinn broke away from Puck, "I'll be in a minute, mom! I gotta go, Puck. See you again, sometime,"
Quinn ran back in the house and went up the stairs, ecstatic with what had just happened. She lay on her bed and unzipped the suitcase and on the top of her clothes, she saw the framed photo of the New Directions.
