As I sat in my room,

staring out at the moon,

I asked out loud,

where would the world take me now?

My fires dying,

And I'm crying,

For my heart, torn apart.

Is killing me slowly,

and no one will know me.

Soon I'll be dead and gone,

I didn't live so long,

But, hark, is there a chance?

A mighty god may enhance

This mortal body, broke and shoddy

Here he comes, upon moon

And I walk outside like a loon

'You came for me?' My lips did quiver

He smirks and holds out a hand 'Come hither'

Such a child I did obey

And he led me away

Over fields and through the forest

Angles seemed to sing in an immaculate chorus

'Come with me into the sky'

He calls to me, his eyes did lie

But me being sad and lonely took the hand

He smiles and folds me into his command.

'Say your mine, forever divine,'

'I am yours forever sure,'

'You will not regret this decision'

He purrs then his fangs make an incision.

Pain fills and I fall, contrite

I look up at him, eyes a-fright

'What did you do to me?'

'I made you perfect, can't you see?'

'Stop it, you're killing me!'

His perfect lips fall into laughing

His eyes half shut like he were napping

'Killing you, oh yes? But my dear that's what James does best.'

One hundred years after my death,

Brought upon by James, which is what the vampire did best

In the forest I was stalking, the deer which were always mocking

A foreign smell yet heavenly, decided to descend on me

'Who are you, why are you here?'

A voice inquired as the smell drew near

'I am strong, now be gone. I am hungry and in my stomach the deer belong.'

I reply with harsh tone, my voice like a song.

But then I turn to see, some one as perfect as me.

My breath stops, my dead heart beats

Hair like gold frames rosy cheeks.

'This is our hunting grounds that you have found'

'Our? More like me? Show me, I must see.'

My voice was rough, my eyes were hungry.

Perhaps there would be one that loved me.

'Who are you, where are you from?'

'My name is Carlisle and I can see,

You're a vampire much like me.'

His voice was soft but oh so strong

'I haven't been one all that long,'

'James was my creator and left me for later,

He then carried on and my early years left me before long,'

The golden eyed male studied me

Like I was a real curiosity.

'You're a vegetarian like me,

And I knew James almost intimately,'

My eyes widen at his claim,

It shocked me James knew some one so tame.

'As I've stated I am Carlisle,

I once had a mate with a beautiful smile

Esme is now gone, destroyed by the Volturi for some dumb transgression.'

The sadness in his voice was heard without mention.

'Also in my family,' he continues

'Alice gifted with the ability to give future views

Her mate Jasper, with interesting effects on moods

And Rose and Emment are both given powerful dues.'

'Edward and Bella also have a child'

Carlisle mentions, giving a smile

'A child!?' I say

'Yes, her name is Renesmee'

'So, what is your name strong hunter?'

Carlisle questions, walking with a calm saunter

I look to the sky, feeling I could cry

'My name is Amelia or Ami for short.'

'What a nice name, would you care to walk?

Perhaps for a while we could talk?'

The blonde vampire smiles and offers an arm

I smile back and take it knowing he would do me no harm.

For a while we would walk,

For longer still we would talk

Carlisle, I found, made a vampire's haven

And later he told me, his new mate, that I had saved him.
