Wow, who knew being a major muscle, bald, hero type would make me such a pansy. When I started out on this "quest" I only had a few tricks up my sleeve. Yeah, I had managed to help that ghost out but let's face it; mostly I just did a lot of running away. I guess a name like Fred105 doesn't exactly instill fear in folks but that was what the facial hair and giant boots were for. The gig started out easy enough, take that wounded guy to get healed and low and behold I get sucked into this whole blood pact thing. First the lady says to go in the catacombs. Does she know who hangs out in there? Dead people. Yeah dead people, but in I go. Amazingly enough I do not run into any dead people but living people who insist on being beat up, those I had plenty of. I still haven't figured out this whole fighting thing so every enemy I run into (and there would be 3) beats the crap out of me. Thank goodness for that nice healer lady or I would be dead. So the first guy I beat up and take his sling…well actually I just beat him up, I didn't know I was suppose to take his sling so I actually ended up hanging around the catacombs for like 4 real days trying to figure out what to do next. Apparently in 4 days the God/s of Rune have taken pity on me and there are now at least 2 versions of my healer lady hanging about. I ask her what to do. Back for the sling and than on to number 2. I nearly die trying to find my second victim but I figured it was probably that lady throwing rocks at my head so I fire back and though I could not see her, I guess my pebbles were magic because I manage to kick her butt. Back to the healer for more healing and more advice. I let my second victim live too because apparently I am just that kind of guy but I do take her staff…well, she basically forced me to but such is life. Thirty minutes of fumbling through my spell book and I finally realize that the staff will work all by itself and off I go to find my third victim. By this point I am pretty good at walking at least so I do find the guy. Being hidden behind a magic door will not protect him from my wrath as it just opens. Five minutes of fumbling around trying to get through and I realize I have to listen to this guy yap for a bit before I can kick his butt. As usual I stink at fighting so while I beat him it is back to the healer (by this point there seem to be three versions of her floating around) and than back to save some hot lady. Unfortunately the last weirdo is still hanging around and I am forbidden (by the hot lady no less) from helping the lady until I deal with the dude. He insists on offing himself while I hid behind a wall. I save the lady and bingo-bango out in the fresh air I have finally managed to complete the quest I started a week ago.
