They weren't very fond of love. They couldn't define it, nor ever feel it. The both of them were almost exactly the same. As if they had been long lost friends. Their families however, were almost alike. She had came from neglect, he came from separation. Growing up being misunderstood was what they were both best at.
You know how they say; teenagers grow up thinking they are misunderstood? It was true for them, but it started way before they ever hit thirteen. They were so different than other people their age. I believe that's what made them click. They could relate to everything they've been through. They could talk about their conflicts without being judged.
Two things they wanted more than anything was, love and purpose. He wanted to have a purpose in life, she wanted love. He wanted love, she wanted purpose. They both knew that the two would be very hard to find. They knew the hardships, but they figured that it would all be worth it in the end.
