It was Tuesday and like always Molly was sitting on her couch watching Glee. Toby was lying beside her, lazy as he always was and probably not giving a damn about the many relationship problems that Rachel and Finn had. Not that she actually cared, but Glee reminded her of Jim. She knew it was stupid but she couldn't help but miss him. He had been so nice to her, unlike Sherlock and all of those other people that were supposed to be 'the good guys'. Sometimes she wished he was still with her, even though he was scary and evil. They could watch Glee and he would...-
''Miss Hooper? Are you there?'', came a unknown female voice from outside the door.
Molly was startled for a second, not expecting anyone, but got up anyway and walked to the door. It was pretty late already, but not answering the door seemed rude. She opened the door not sure what to expect.
She certainly hadn't expected the sight before her.
Before her stood a woman, she had no idea who she was, steadying a seemingly drunk Jim Moriarty. The woman chuckled when she saw Molly's confused expression and motioned to Jim.
''I know you probably want to know what's going on, but first help me with him. He's heavier than you might think.''
Molly wanted to ask why the hell they were at her house, but for some reason it seemed better to just to do what the woman asked of her. With a lot of struggling they got Jim, who was now sleeping, on the couch. Molly wondered how the woman had gotten him to her house on her own.
''So…ehm…could you…could you tell me why you're here?'', Molly suddenly felt nervous as she took a better look at the woman. She was incredibly pretty and wore an expensive dress that didn't leave much to the imagination.
''Of course. The name is Irene Adler. Call me Irene.''
That last sentence ended with a look that made Molly get goose bumps. She couldn't remember anyone looking at her like that before. Well, except for Jim…
''M-Molly, Molly Hooper.''
Irene smirked.
''Nice to meet you dear. Now, I think it's time I finally inform you about the situation. I found Jimmy here totally drunk, hanging around on the streets, so I took him with me. I asked him where to go to, and he mentioned your address. But it looks like you, just like me, don't have the slightest idea why.''
Molly swallowed deep.
''Uhmm…No not really. We…Well we used to date but that was just some cover so he could spy on...Right, you probably don't care...but well…no...I wouldn't know why.''
Irene turned serious and stared into Molly's eyes, making her even more nervous.
''Listen, I know you're not waiting on this either, but could he stay here for the night? There are…certain reasons why he can't stay at my place. It's just for the night, I'll pick him up tomorrow morning.''
Molly knew she was being stupid but she nodded anyway. This was Sherlock all over again. Now that she thought about it the woman kind of looked like Sherlock.
''Y-Yes, of course. No problem.''
Suddenly she realized something.
''But…what if he wakes up? I can't take him. What if he attacks me?''
Irene's smile was so smug that Molly had to look down.
''Then I suppose I'll also have to stay.''
