A/N: Round Two of the Royal Flush Drabble Challenge. Ace of Hearts!

Sometimes, it made no sense, the two of them being together. Their affections - if they could be called that - were slightly awkward, almost unadvanced and insophisticated. They oftentimes didn't know what they were doing, didn't know how to react, but they managed all the more. They were, from time to time, getting better and better with their timing, though they still didn't know how to balance everything out.

"Echizen-kun," the tensai started, usual sadistic smile donning his features, "you're not doing it right."

The capped boy turned to face him, swinging his racquet idly in his left hand as he responded with a non-too-amused look. "Fuji-senpai, I know what I'm doing." That might have been true; it might not have. But the problem was, he still wasn't opening himself entirely to the honey-haired player. He didn't like when anyone told him what to do, especially when it came to playing a game he just started to enjoy.

Seigaku's tensai smiled again, a true, non-sadistic smile this time around. Maybe he found just what he needed in the boy - what they needed to leave behind all their awkward moments, their awkward movements. He just needed to realize. Fuji Syuusuke had found love - found solice - in a young boy, a freshman, Echizen Ryoma. No going back.
