Laura Roslin stared at the dirt, the crackling of the Geiger counter reached new heights as the person in charge of the machine told her the dirt was radioactive. She looked around , all she could see was destruction. Abandoned vehicles, destroyed buildings, dead trees, everything pointed to a nuclear explosion. Everyone around her was in a state of despair, all having the same hollow look in their eyes. That is, everyone except the commander of the Galactica. Laura watched William Adama as he stared at the remains of a supposed opera house. She watched as Adama took in several deep breaths, she could feel the tension in his breathing, as if he was trying to say something. Laura walked over to Bill, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Bill, are you alright". Adama then did something that shocked Laura. He dropped to his knees, and shouted so everyone could hear him.
"YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! AH, DAMN YOU! GODS DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL".
