Sokka sat in the tent, sighing that Zuko finally left. Finally! He situated himself again, putting the flower in his mouth, sprawling out for Suki to come in. He took a deep breath to settle his thundering heart, and the tent flap opened.
"D'you have it?" Sokka asked Suki. She nodded.
"Yeah. Are…are you sure…"
"Yeah. I…I'm sure." Sokka took a deep breath. "I…yeah." Suki sat down next to Sokka and put her arm around him.
"I…well…I dunno…" she said. "I…It's not really the right time…"
"It's always the right time." Sokka said firmly, and then reached under that mat and pulled out a flat board. He ripped the top of the flower off and put it on the center of the board. He took the rock Suki brought and put it next to it. "I'm missing the Pink Flower tile and the Old Stone. But we can still do it. I mean, just because Zuko's obsessed with Pai Sho doesn't mean we can't play it, right?"
