I am the wind
I am the wind.
I need freedom.
The wind is always destined to be free.
The wind, an element of air, is
The sweet whisper that caresses the trees
And the grasses
And the downy feathers upon the songbirds' chicks.
The wind can not,
Can never,
Be locked up,
Contained,
Sheltered,
Within a prison.
The wind does not,
Can not,
Have any obligations
To anyone or anything.
The wind is one in itself,
One in its actions.
The handkerchief that covers the serene skies of azure.
The wind is a stream in the atmosphere,
A stream that flows to the ends of time.
The wind needs not a home;
The wind needs freedom.
I am the wind.
I need freedom.
The wind is always destined to be free.
And forever, I shall be free.
