Brat'ac wrapped his hands around the warm mug and sniffed its contents cautiously. "The Tau'ri are a curious race," he said sipping at the brew, nose wrinkling at its pungent aroma, "yet despite their technological inferiority, they have managed to defeat several system lords."
Teal'c nodded and moved to refill his mentor's mug. "Their survival has much surprised me, my friend. We have found suitable allies in our battle against Goa'uld oppression."
"Of this I am sure, but what would you attribute their success to?"
Teal'c cocked his head, gesturing towards his own mug. "I have noticed that Daniel Jackson is at his most informative when imbibing coffee."
"This?" Bra'tac held his mug aloft.
"Indeed. Major Carter often cites coffee as being responsible for some of her more inventive plans."
"A simple drink?"
"Colonel O'Neill uses the drink as a stimulus before approaching the matter of his paperwork; apparently it is a useful weapon for cutting through red-tape."
"What is this 'red-tape'?"
"Of that I am unsure, but it leaves O'Neill most frustrated."
Bra'tac took another swill of the brew, letting the warm liquid pool in his mouth, exciting his taste buds. "You feel this coffee could be the edge the Tau'ri has over the system lords?"
"I am at a loss to find any other reason for their success."
"Then it is settled, we must procure some of this coffee and spread it throughout the free Jaffa Nation."
"A cunning and wise plan. The Goa'uld will be most unsuspecting."
