Tatsu Yukimura slowly trudged down the side of "The Dragon's Den", a popular shop that sold statues of dragons and anything related to dragons. It was pretty much, the best place to go when you needed any kind of information on dragons.

The shop was owned by a kind woman, who looked about thirty, but was really fifty-three. She was always at her shop, 24/7, no matter what. She always wore an apron, which was constantly covered in brown stains made by clay, and a loosely fitted grey t-shirt with faded red trousers. The woman usually had her golden brown hair in a tight ponytail, and sported her green dragon earrings all the time. The woman's name was Aoi Doragon. Aoi was continuously kind and polite, always smiled and was obsessed with dragons. She just loved them.

Tatsu has had an irrational love for dragons from a young age. "The Dragon's Den" was a small shop, located just down the road of Tatsu's house and somewhat fuelled her love for dragons. Tatsu was fourteen, with light greyish-black hair and a round face along with soft blue eyes.

Tatsu had always wanted one of the dragon statues that Aoi sold in her shop, and today she finally had saved up enough money to buy at least one, she hoped. So Tatsu looked and admired all the dragons in the store. The brave and noble ones, the weak and fragile ones, ones with swords and some with even their own nifty hats. She smiled at all of them, but waited for the "right one". Tatsu turned around a corner and the first dragon that caught her eye, was the dragon that sat on its own shelf, no other dragons surrounded it. She immediately and swiftly walked over to it, and analysed it. It looked like a male dragon with scales as black as the night sky covering his entire, muscular frame. His dark wings spread, encompassing him like a black ominous cloud waiting to rain stormily over someone. His mouth open in an everlasting snarl, his emerald eyes focused straight ahead of him. He stood on all fours, with his well-built legs stretched out, positioned neatly atop a small pile of bones.

Tatsu took a deep breath, and softly laid her finger on his chest. A faint, distant whisper flowed into her ears and through her mind.

...Bones…

Tatsu abruptly gasped and peered around the shop frantically. No one. She glanced down at the dragon, into his blazing green eyes and quickly check his price tag. $23.75… Exactly what Tatsu had saved up. She had made her decision. Tatsu carried the dragon, stepping lightly, toward the check out.

'Good Afternoon, how may I help you today, young one?' Aoi greeted Tatsu with a smile. Tatsu held the black dragon up for Aoi to see. It seemed as if Aoi's eyes widened with a slight gasp, but Tatsu was unsure.

'Just this please.' She replied to Aoi's inquiry.

'Very well!' Tatsu exchanged her money for the dragon, as Aoi muttered something under her breath, and left the shop hurriedly, for she was late and needed to get home. Although, Aoi's mutter slowly replayed in her head over and over, and was not to sure what on earth she had meant.

'So he has finally chosen somebody…'
