DISCLAIMER: The characters this is based on belong to J.K. Rowling, but the poem sure as hell belongs to ME!

A/N: I don't expect everyone to "get" this. It is a poem, after all... If you have questions, I'll try to explain. (As with normal writing, periods indicate the end of sentences. A single thought may carry on for several lines.)

-- throwing stones --

living in glass houses, throwing stones.

shattered heart and shattered soul

held together only by a single solitary strand

more delicate than spider's string.

an opalescent liquid ladder formed from tears

leads to the strongest, cruelest memories

defining moments that restructure reality.

snakescale and silver ribbon shields

a tiny firefly born in the shadows

of a further and deeper darkness.

firefly and dragonfly, side by side

can build the trap that catches lightning.

A/N: Reviews are love, even when they're hate.
